In a perfect world people who used science as the basis for their arguement would actually understand said science.
I agree, and I have spent an awful lot of time teaching Yakuza about both the law and science this week. He has come a long way. He now knows that defense attorneys may present evidence and cross examine witnesses in bench trials and I hope he now has a better understanding of the Ideal Gas Law. I'm doing my best!

The science is precise, we use it every day in racing (tire pressures / damper setting & design), but the measurements and testing conditions in deflate-gate are not. Luckily, the Patriots incriminated themselves simply through their behavior and subsequent denials.

And that pretty much speaks to how stupid this whole thing is, doesn't it? People want to act like it's a matter of life and death and yet (until this year) the whole testing and measuring process was a compete and total joke.

Not a single person in the league (or fandom) gave a turd about it - until the proven false allegations against the Patriots were made.

Erroneous conclusion.
