MNF: Bengals vs Giants Game Thread

IMO that should have been a catch since he caught the ball and took a step before being forced to the ground; had he been falling after catching the ball I'd understand.

Caught the ball, tucked it away as he turned, dove for the end zone, hit by the defender while in the air, ball was in his possession when it entered the plane of the goal line. It did not come out until he landed in the end zone.

So 3 weeks ago that was a catch by Cole Beasley in the end zone, but today for the Bengals it's not. What the hell, NFL?

NOBODY KNOWS WHAT A CATCH IS.

I have no idea why Cincy didn't challenge that bs call.

Not sure they could, but then again I don't understand the challenge rules at all either. Who decided that wasn't at least worth an under the hood review? Same as Pittsburgh's second TD yesterday.

The moment you break the plane of the goal line with the ball in your possession, that is a TD and it becomes a dead ball. What happens to it after that doesn't matter. Pereria himself used to explain this.

Now so many different official crews are making so many different calls nobody knows what a catch is.

No challenge because they know that whole catch deal will never be overturned. The NFL just wants to prove they have been right all along.

I mean I was so sure that was a TD I was assuming I was watching the XP until I realized they only added 3 pts on the scoreboard.
