Could the reason for that is Romo cant read the entire field and make all the throws. This is what I always harp on that kitna made those reads and throws back in 2010.

it's a combination of a relic playbook and qb with a wimpy arm.

They run a ton of short nicely designed to get Sproles, a shifty back, in space. Which is basically a long handoff. They have very creative playbook

Basically a long handoff, except for the part where they throw the ball? Hey, I'm all for passing the ball to running backs. They're typically very effective passing plays. The Saints do do a great job getting advantages out of their passing offense. It's why they're so good.

Actually it does. I take it you subscribe to the Adam “running doesn’t matter” theology. Running does matter. It effects many aspects of a football game. Some elite QBs defy that logic but it still holds true after all these years.

Not sure what 'theology' you're referring to. I do know what the data makes pretty obvious, if that's what you're referring to. And of course running does matter. Nobody on this board that I've ever seen ever said that it doesn't. It sounds instead, like you've misunderstood the argument about the value of an effective running game incorrectly all this time.

Has there ever been a coach that "looks" more like his city than Rob Ryan?

Saints need to get Jimmy locked up long term because his value is only going to increase

I am in a fantasy football league where Graham was drafted in the 3rd round and at first I was like why draft a TE in the early rounds but boy was I wrong!

he's technically listed as a TE, but Payton lines him up more at like he's a 6'7 WR

Payton's offense makes the opposing defense adjust to what their offense wants to do.
JG's offense adjusts to what the opposing defense wants to do.

TO and Crayton must of taken Romo's reading ability with them, becasue they made a living catching passes across and in the middle of the field.
