As good as Shanahan is at Xs and Os, he is terrible at clock management. Doesn't seem like he learned much from the Super Bowl meltdown with Atlanta.

I don’t think it’s the ego thing... I think it’s more of the scared of injury thing. He won’t get paid if he gets hurt. If he wants to get paid though, he’d run the ball more. He’s a lot like Wilson in that regard. He plays better on the run and can use his legs. Why Dak doesn’t see this and take the opportunity, I don’t know.
