MNF: Patriots - 17 vs Saints - 38 Game Thread

It's a wrap for New England, haha. Their defense just isn't very good.

Edit: for the first half. I absolutely hate the Patriots but we're all kidding ourselves if you don't expect them to come out for blood in the 3rd quarter. New England's gone away from their gameplan too trying to play catchup...going into panic mode with a bunch of shotgun playcalls...

wait sounds familiar!

Saints get the ball back with 13 seconds. Anyone think they get points?

I think this game says alot about the Pats defense than it does about the Saints offense.

The Saints O is legit, but the Pats defense looks like the Cowboys circa 2001.

So ..... rumor has it there was a Stanback sighting.

Anyone confirm?

13 seconds and they kneel? that is garbage. with that offense I would have at least taken a shot to get into FG range.

I was hoping we'd get him, too. Didn't look like a good pick at first, but it looks pretty good now.

I love me some Spencer, though, so it's okay.
Dwayne Bowe would have been the better pickup.

didn't think the pts would be in twenties by half time. Looks like Dallas will be #2 scoring D for this week.

This just in, Hoodie caught looking for the truck that ran his team over.

Slow down, now.

We math up well with the saints believe it or not.

if Romo decides to spread it around, we'll present all kinds of matchups for them, like they will for us

Bennett
Austin
Crayton
Witten
passes to Felix
passes to Choice
Barber run some
could even get Roy involved

outside of Welker and Moss, Brady doesn't have much

I would like to see Brees try those deep throws on our corners...IRRC we haven't given a TD to a blown assignment this year - just ask Anthony Henry about that last season...

Yuck...2001. 5-11 season, 30th out of 31 teams in scoring offense, and here is the great defense:

LDE - Greg Ellis
LDT - Brandon Noble
RDT - Michael Myers
RDE - Peppi Zellner
LLB - Markus Steele
LLB - Darren Hambrick
MLB - Dat Nguyen
RLB - Dexter Coakley
LCB - Duane Hawthorne
RCB - Mario Edwards :ralph:
SS - Woody
FS - George Teague (still a Teague fan)

Mario Edwards might have had the longest neck in the NFL.

If we took our thanksgiving team vs tonights Saints... we have no chance.

Agreed, what is going to change?
