MNF: Patriots - 17 vs Saints - 38 Game Thread

New England's offensive line just blew the Saints off the ball on that play.

If your team has the speed and size, you can run at and around this Saints defense.

A: Saints 10-0, Cowboys 8-3

what do rhetorical mean?

btw, is it me, or are alot of Pat O players getting a great jump at the snap? it's the 3rd time on this drive where it looks like someone has left the line early, whether it be Oline or an extra blocker

Pats are executing their plan...short gains..run..run..run
without looking for big play and that way
keep the ball
keep NO offense off the field
make the NO defense tired

good game plan....good reciepe to beat the saints

one thing about New England's offense that I wish our offense had more of - they have excellent check-down routes and they aren't afraid to play the dump-down/YAC game all the way down the field.

Sometimes a short pass is just as good as a run.
Completely agree. A prime example of that was when Moss went deep, and Brady checked down to Welker. He got 5-6 yards off that instead of nothing, because there was a checkdown receiver.

Good eye.

New England got lucky, because that kickoff coverage was atrocious.

:welcome: to the Zone!

New Englands kicker usually booms em kickoffs. I wonder why he's kicking so short in a dome.

I would assume they did it to set up the saints defense

I think NE will continue the same rhythm

Chris Berman is getting way too much airtime these days

1st he advocates losing weight by eating healthy with Nutrisystem

and then he's encouraging you to pig out on the cheap with Applebee's

Please hit Shocky like that 10-11 more times please :)

3:29 left in the first...New England chewed up almost the entire quarter.

Surprised Shockey didn't drop that, and I'm not just being a Shockey hater.

the deep incompletion to Aikman than the playaction intended for Moss but Brady checked it down. what game are you watching?

I love Belichick for going for it on 4th down. That's the way football should always be played.
