He threw floaters the last 10 years of his career, never had a good arm. He got by with anticipation and laying the ball to a spot.

It blows my mind that, despite ALL the injuries, 49ers *still* have a shot at the #1 spot in the NFC.

49ers have great coaching on both sides of the ball with Shanahan, Kubiak, and Saleh

This defense has been hit hard by injuries and they held the league's #2 rusher to 46yds on 16carries (2.9)

Shanahan deciding to have Purdy still throwing the ball on the 9ers second to last possession was interesting. No matter how good a game Purdy was having, I am handing the ball off, running clock, and kicking a FG to go up 17.

Shanahan is still pass happy and learned nothing from his Atlanta blown SB. That will burn them at some point this season. Along with that injured rag tag defense.

so your saying milton and lance are better qb's right now and you would roll with them over rivers??
His arm is lacking on longer throws, but those arent really needed.
