MNF stinker week 2

We can't make this determination after week 1. I've seen HOF QBs look like crap in the first 2 weeks only to go 12-4. Yeah, it looks like Atlanta sucks right now. But can we really make much of it from week 1? But I still can't believe they paid Cousins all that money. That is insane.

Ok. I understand your post better now. If you think about it, maybe that's why they drafted that rookie QB so high.

They seemed to like him quite a bit Penix , the draft show I was watching was shocked Atlanta took a QB after getting Cousins and that one in particular so high in the draft .

I didn't think they were picking a QB, but I certainly understand why. They're preparing for life after Cousins, which could come sooner than anyone thinks. If Cousins does end up being halfway decent, they're not picking 8th again anytime soon.

My opinion of a team doesn't change due to week 1. Which is the most insignificant week that counts. The Saints and Bucs beat two of the worst teams in the league. Atlanta played one of the best defenses.
