Watching the Colts LBs, I'm pretty convinced we need some more speed on our D. It's tough to do with a 3 - 4, but we gotta get some faster LB's for sure.

Heh, when do we EVER see one of our safeties arriving just when the ball does to make a ball jarring hit? They're always chasing the ball carrier to the end zone.

I honestly think they are trained not to let anyone one get behind them at all costs, which means they always play it safe.

Lol at people getting so offended because I said Ware has nothing on Freeney. Where have you guys been the past 10 years?

Big time. The grass is always greener. Some of these fans are idiots...I would love it for Romo and Ware go elsewhere and make the HOF. We as fans do not deserve a good team...

We really don't. 20 sacks two years ago and on pace to break his own personal best and he "can't touch Freeney."

We have the dumbest fans in sports.

Semantics. When I watch the two of them play one stands out more than the other. Ware is ok with me. Just needs to do more in crunchtime.

Yeah sure dude, Freeney went without a sack for four games in a row this year. I guess Ware does indeed doesn't have anything on him...

Another horrendous spot by the officials, but the Colts got the 1st down anyway.

So sacks is the measurement? No qb hits or pressures eh? OK keep getting butt hurt over nothing. Ware is a great player. I just think Freeney is of the Polamalu/Ray Lewis mold.

Yeah Ok, I guess I will take your word over guys like Jaws/Trent Dilfer etc. who think Ware is most dominating defensive players in NFL. Because what the heck do they know.

Ware has QB pressures, hits, stripsacks to his name.

"nothing in crunchtime" New Orleans last year ring a bell? I bet it doesn't, because you don't know anything about football let alone the Dallas Cowboys.

Here, check this out - I'm sure this site will be of more use to you:

Freeney is a DE. Polamalu a safety, and Ray Lewis an ILB. Yeah - he really fits the mold.

I'm going to request the mods change your name to "stillthefail" because that's all you do every time you click "New Thread" or "Quick Reply".

Say what you want, but if i had one play where i needed a pass rusher, i would take freeney over ware and it wouldn't be a contest.

The thing freeney has going for him though is the fact that mathis is almost just as good on the other side.... its pretty much a track meet to see who can get to the quarterback the fastest. That being said, i have still seen when teams try and double freeney and he blows by both of them.

When he busts out that spin move, its over

I think he meant a game changer with that statement about polamalu and ray lewis... and i agree with him. Freeney showed what he meant to the team that year they won the superbowl. He was out there basically on one leg and still putting consistent pressure on the quarterback. Very gutsy performance.

3rd and 7 late in the fourth quarter.... who do you think has a better chance of coming up with a play? Ware or freeney.... i would put my entire bank account on freeney.

I know ware did it against the saints, but freeney does it on a consistent basis in crunch time. When he is on turf, he is unblockable

That is one of the most overused cliches, used whenver it fits ones agenda.

What the heck is crunch time? Like whenver you are watching? Freeney is no doubt a great player. But to discount Ware at the cost of Freeny is purely silly. But right now the flavor is bash all cowboys players/scheme/coaches. Like I posted, I will take Trent Dilfer's word over your word any time of the day. But I guess that doesn't fit your agenda right now.

Thats the way it goes.

Manning is just amazing.

No doubt about that. I still take Brady over Manning though, but thats just my preference. But regular season give me Manning, and post season give me Brady, that ought to do it. ALthough lately Brady hasn't been that hot in Post season either, I guess having a avg to below avg defense does that to you.
