That is one of the most overused cliches, used whenver it fits ones agenda.

What the heck is crunch time? Like whenver you are watching? Freeney is no doubt a great player. But to discount Ware at the cost of Freeny is purely silly. But right now the flavor is bash all cowboys players/scheme/coaches. Like I posted, I will take Trent Dilfer's word over your word any time of the day. But I guess that doesn't fit your agenda right now.

Thats the way it goes.

I live in indy, so i am pretty much forced to watch every colts game. It is amazing to see that in pass situations such as 3rd and medium to long, freeney almost always puts great pressure on the quarterback. And if the colts are up by one score late in the game and the other team has to pass, good luck trying to block freeney when he knows the pass is coming.

He has an advantage over ware though because he is rushing the quarterback every play and the colts usually build a lead. So more often than not, the other team is forced to pass to get back in it. Ware does not have either of those luxuries though

Yeah, and Ware is pretty much only player who can get consistent pressure. Even without Freeney, Colts get pressure, with Mathis etc. Thats why Ware is more dominant.

Freeney is really dominant at home and not away from home though. Crowd/Turf give him a great advantage, unlike for Ware at home. Besides Ware does much more than just rush the passer, since he can cover pretty well when he needs to. Really two different players, dominant in their own roles when it comes to it.

But Freeney definetly does have better supporting cast, not to mention one of the greatest QBs in NFL.

No doubt about that. I still take Brady over Manning though, but thats just my preference. But regular season give me Manning, and post season give me Brady, that ought to do it. ALthough lately Brady hasn't been that hot in Post season either, I guess having a avg to below avg defense does that to you.

Manning is the all time best regular season quarterback. But he can be a little iffy in the playoffs sometimes. Part of the reason brady won 3 titles though was he had a really good defense behind him.

The year the colts won the superbowl, manning did not play all that well in the playoffs. Against the chiefts, he had 3 picks to ty law, but the colts completely shut down the so called unstoppable larry johnson (at least he was that year). It was weird because the colts defense was as bad as could be that year, but they were rock solid in the playoffs

See my post above. I already said that. I have always said Manning is not a good Playoff QB. Even during his college years, against really great teams he struggle, which is opposite of Eli Manning. Eli was actually really good against better teams in College.

I think lack of running game hurts Manning at times against great D. Thats where he fails in Playoffs. So when CB are allowed to get away with some physical play, Passing wont work due to the way Colts run it, IMO.

This mike hart is impressive.... great name too because he plays with a lot of heart.

Great job of picking up the blitzes too.

The Colts may look bad at times defending the run but they are so fast from sideline to sideline. I wish our D could have speed like that.
