MNF Thread Rams at Green Bay

I played with temps in the 20s on the old Astroturf. It was an away game, only time I played on it. Awful stuff. Like playing on concrete when it's cold.

I remember going to the Astrodome as a little girl to watch the Astros. I use to think it looked so big but when I went a few years back to watch the Cowboys play the Texans it looked so small.

There was a contract element to his decision as well if I remember correctly.

He said why:

The ninth-year wide receiver had already confirmed the Packers offered more money to keep him. Despite that, Adams requested to be traded out of Green Bay, according to Tim Keown of ESPN.com.

“The time came where I had to think about my overall life and happiness,” Adams said, via Keown. “Where do I want my kids to grow up? I love Green Bay, but I’m a West Coast dude and a lot of family — especially my grandparents — haven’t been able to see me play in close to a decade of playing pro ball. It’s all the same people that’s coming — and it’s not a whole lot.”

The evidence is overwhelming in your favor.

Perhaps. There are various stories out there. Adams wanted to move his family to Vegas, he wasn't sure how long Rodgers would stay at Green Bay (but why join the Raiders to win a ring in the same division as the Chiefs and a stronger overall conference) and as you mention length of contract etc.

Weird one with Rodgers. Take away the dislike and look at it objectively.

Last two seasons he has thrown 85 TD and 9 Interceptions in past two regular seasons. MVP both seasons.

This season 22 TDs and 10 interceptions.

He has previously played lights out without Adams so yes, he's obviously a huge loss, but I think the o line has been the bigger issue coupled with the broken thumb and the rookie receivers bedding in. I can't believe he's suddenly washed. It wouldn't really add up.

I never realized just how bad Baker Mayfield is. Dude holds the ball for 5 seconds and then Daks it off to his check down.

Goes to show that it takes a team to win, not just one player like so many believe.
