My biggest concern playing them is the ST play. I think they blocked few punts for TD and we all know what Sproles can do returning punts.
Out ST play has been up and down this year. Mostly down except for Bailey. We can't let them block a punt for easy score or let Sproles have a big day.
Yeah they will absolutely try to exploit our special teams when we play. We need to get that cleaned up, and aside from Sproiles, they aren't going to block punt for scoop and score touchdown opponents to death all the way to the Super Bowl like they were trying to do earlier in the year. That crap dried up for them weeks ago.
They won't be able to stop our offense. They roughed up a pretty weak and bad Panther's offensive line tonight. They might as well had been playing a high school team. That is not indicative at all on how they will perform against our oline. Long time Panther's LT Jordan Gross unexpectedly retired right before the season started. Travelle Wharton retired before the season started. The panthers moved their right tackle from last year Byron Bell to left tackle and he has been absolutely horrible there. The point is that the Panther's oline is a joke.
The Eagles will put 8 in the box against us and they still won't be able to stop us from running the ball. There will be opportunities all over the field in the passing game and we'll pop off big yardage plays against them. Not at all worried about their defense.
Not worried about their offense that much either. They virtually run a fast paced college offense. They will go three and out and have the ball for 30 seconds. That plays right into our hands with the style of play we employ on offense ourselves with ball control.
We just need to protect the ball and play our style and we should handle them just fine. After they go to Green Bay next week and get tore up hopefully some here will get their big boy britches on and stop worrying about them as much.
