MNF Thread

My biggest concern playing them is the ST play. I think they blocked few punts for TD and we all know what Sproles can do returning punts.

Out ST play has been up and down this year. Mostly down except for Bailey. We can't let them block a punt for easy score or let Sproles have a big day.

Yeah they will absolutely try to exploit our special teams when we play. We need to get that cleaned up, and aside from Sproiles, they aren't going to block punt for scoop and score touchdown opponents to death all the way to the Super Bowl like they were trying to do earlier in the year. That crap dried up for them weeks ago.

They won't be able to stop our offense. They roughed up a pretty weak and bad Panther's offensive line tonight. They might as well had been playing a high school team. That is not indicative at all on how they will perform against our oline. Long time Panther's LT Jordan Gross unexpectedly retired right before the season started. Travelle Wharton retired before the season started. The panthers moved their right tackle from last year Byron Bell to left tackle and he has been absolutely horrible there. The point is that the Panther's oline is a joke.

The Eagles will put 8 in the box against us and they still won't be able to stop us from running the ball. There will be opportunities all over the field in the passing game and we'll pop off big yardage plays against them. Not at all worried about their defense.

Not worried about their offense that much either. They virtually run a fast paced college offense. They will go three and out and have the ball for 30 seconds. That plays right into our hands with the style of play we employ on offense ourselves with ball control.

We just need to protect the ball and play our style and we should handle them just fine. After they go to Green Bay next week and get tore up hopefully some here will get their big boy britches on and stop worrying about them as much.

That's what I mean, have they beaten any team this season that had 0 turnovers? That's why I said before the game the panthers will have a shot if they don't turn over the ball and they came out turning over the ball LOL

Seattle didn't look at that good against the Giants at home yesterday until about the 3rd qtr. Thats why I see the eagles winnining that game

Transitive property does not work in sports. Eagles did not look that good against the Jaguars until about the 3rd quarter. That means nothing when they moved forward and played another opponent.

Check out the Jets and Steelers last week. Steelers looked unstoppable and Jets were a trainwreck. But how did that game turn out when they played each other?

Philly May have lucked into Sanchez. He scares more than Foles. No way they would've been a real contender with Foles. Said it all season.. He should still be in ny. He's better than anything the jets are throwing out there at QB.

They didn't really didn't luck into Sanchez. Chip Kelly played against Sanchez while coaching Oregon. He knew what he could do and went out and got him right away. That was a calculated move. Foles is not a Chip Kelly guy.

The luck is Foles shoulder injury. No injury no Sanchez. They lucked into Sanchez!

I do take comfort in the fact that 6 out of the 7 teams they beat had bad QB's

Jags
Skins
Giants
Texans
Rams
Panthers

We haven't beat anyone this season that had 0 turnovers.

My concern with the ST is not only what the EaGirls can do but how we just had a kick and a punt blocked recently and Harris' habit of giving the ball away lately.

we both teams look like they are evenly matched then. And on top of that the combined records below for the teams the eagles and cowboys beat

cowboys-23-41
eagles-23-41-1

I wouldn't mind having Mark Sanchez as our back up QB.

because that is the only challenging game left on their schedule aside from us which means will would have to be beat them twice. Seattle is not all that challenging because they have to come to philly

So they beat GB and they good. As long as we get in I can care less about the division

Seattle is still a challenge. I don't care if it's at Philly.

Holy smokes.. What happened?

Yeah. That was some bs in ny with Rex.

Kid led them to 2 straight AFC title games. He had something.

He led them. I wouldn't go that far. That defense and running game led them. He threw for 200 yards in only 2 of those 6 playoff games he played.

Ok. Like we al say.

If you are going to blame QB for losses then he gets credit for leading team too.

He didn't lead the team. So he isn't getting the credit. He did just enough not to completely screw it up but when they really needed him against Manning and Roethlisberger in each of those championship games it showed he couldn't lead them to anything. The guy threw for 100 yards in one of those playoff games and won. That isn't leading anything.

Meh...
