So, he sucks.

Darn. Wish we did not sign him to a contract worth an elite player.

If he is that bad, we are complete imbeciles for paying out the nose for him.
He's elite in his own way, but he needs Romo.

Let's hope Romo teaches this to Dak.

Anyone notice that was the same play they ram last time on forth? If you saw he was wide open on the touchdown. I'm guessing they saw that and decided to go right back to it for that reason. Good coaching

Sounds to me you are saying he is Romo-dependent like everyone else in this franchise seems to be.
Not all.

Romo is just better than we know. At least let's hope he still is.

Awfully glad we have hope in Dak though.

Never cared that much for Todd Haley, especially after Parcells tomahawk chopped him, but he has crafted a quality scheme for them.

Still one of my favorite moments ever.

He's not a good route runner. Doesn't run the proper depth. Doesn't read defenses at all. That's why they give him so few routes to run, and rarely use him in the slot. He doesn't get it.

Because the play calling is so bad. Looks like they just say alright Dez lineup wide right or left and do a go/post/hook or whatever route. If you somehow miraculously get wide open with that double coverage, we'll toss the ball your way. Otherwise, be a decoy and block for your fellow running back.

That's not how it should be. Have him go in motion, line up in different positions, in the slot, wide, or hell even in the backfield. Throw the defense off and cause some confusion. If you just line him up in the same position and have him run the same routes, he'll never consistently get open. Nobody would unless you have like 4.2 speed. Especially since Dez gets doubled almost every play. The fact that Dez still puts up great numbers with this senseless play calling tells you how great he is.

Sh

I saw Norman forcing that fumble in his first game after signing the contract. Then I wondered what his salary was compared to Carr who has made a few plays the whole time he has been here.
Ah ok. Didnt know the context.

The market for CB's really seemed to crash after that offseason. As bad a deal as Carr has been there were other worse ones at CB that year. Finnigans really stands out

That is just nonsense.

You are implying that Romo is one of the greatest QBs in the history of the game.

Sorry, he's not. No matter how much we want to so desperately want him to be.

That said, I will say that he certainly has been elevated to that level by this braintrust and even the team well above his accomplishments.

Like a slightly more successful Archie Manning.

I thought Washington's offense would be too much for pittsburgh.

Thankfully I have never gambled.

First, the QB decides who to throw it to. Dez is out there to throw it to.

Second, Dez just isn't capable of lining up all over. He doesn't understand the game that way. At OSU, they lined him up by the coaches on the OSU sideline just so they could tell him where to go.

Alright so your final argument is that Dez is just this big dumb idiot who isn't capable of doing anything other than lining up in the same place and running the same routes?
