Unbelievable! There's still 6 weeks until the season. There will be more to come we must brace for it.

Alright, it's time for them to just stop practicing. Just have the players show up for games and then go home and lay in the bed wrapped up in bubble wrap.

This is what happens when you trade picks and kill your depth. Can't afford any injuries. Good luck with that Cowboys fans.

Well it's a good thing they outlawed the Oklahoma drill and Bull in the ring!

Maybe the weather is just too cool in Oxnard. They need some heat!

OXNARD, Calif. — Cornerback Morris Claiborne is the latest to join a growing list of players on the Dallas Cowboys’ injury report.

Claiborne didn’t leave practice early, but injured his right knee while going up for a ball late in Wednesday’s afternoon practice. He was scheduled to get it X-rayed, owner Jerry Jones said, and it was unknown if he would require an MRI on it.

“My feet just got stuck in the ground, cleats got stuck in the ground … twisted,” Claiborne said.

Claiborne has been one of the better players early on in camp, in Jones’ mind. Claiborne intercepted a pass from Tony Romo earlier in the session and has shown a better approach from Day 1.

Jones was somewhat optimistic because trainer Jim Maurer didn’t express the same level of concern as he did with defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence on Tuesday.

“Jim Maurer felt pretty good about it,” Jones said. “He for instance didn’t have the same level of concern that he had yesterday regarding the sensitivity that we had with Lawrence.”

Claiborne, the sixth overall pick in the 2012 draft, has not lived up to his hype and has battled injuries his first two seasons.
