Mo tore bone off his pelvis?

So does this mean it is a chipped pelvis rather than a groin/sports hernia? Or is this on top of that injury? Chipped bone alone might not be so bad if they don't have to remove the chip until the offseason.

Just heard on red zone channel that Mo told reporter that he "chipped a bone in his pelvis" and will be "out a couple more weeks." have no idea what to believe.
That sounds more like it. Never heard the term tore a bone
Chipped bone seems more likely

We should have in 2014 so we wouldn't have to rely on a player who didn't want to be there.

I think paying Cortland Finnegan, Keenan Lewis, Antonio Cromartie, Blidi Wreh Wilson or Cary Williams $800,000 to not see Leon McFadden play meaningful minutes would be worth it. We currently have Brandon Carr, a rookie who has been playing well, Scandrick the softy and Leon McFadden. If one of those guys go down you have Jeff Heath taking snaps at corner. I'd rather hope that a vet with starting experience can play the 4th corner than rely on a practice squad guy in the playoffs.

Antonio Cromartie has been begging to wear the Star the last 2 seasons.

And Scandrick just doesn't look right either. Work out Chris Culliver at least.

I'd be on board, but I think he's hurt. Same with Keenan Lewis. Those two would be my top choices. I honestly think Cromartie would be our best bet. Played some this year and has playoff experience. I'm not saying start the guy, but he'd be a good 4th corner and I'd bite the bullet and pay him so we don't have to see McFadden out there. But then again, I'm just a guy.

Some are saying, in another thread, that Mo actually chipped a bone in his pelvis and will be re-evaluated in a few weeks. If this is the case, he'd return later this regular season.

Culliver disagrees with Dolphins, said he's 100%. That is why I said at least bring him in for workout. He's the youngest and best of the options still out there. But suffers from foot in mouth disease.

Nice. I didn't know that. I'd bring him in to see what's going on. Not sure he'd like playing the 4th corner spot.

May become 3rd, even 2nd. If healthy, he's that good. Oscan needs to sit. He has looked slow and old since he got back.

I'm not happy with the day Scandrick has been playing. Very uninspired. I doubt any of these guys would surpass him though. If I were to rank the current veteran FAs that were available in terms of who I'd want:

1. A healthy Keenan Lewis
2. Cromartie
3. Culliver
4. Cary Williams
5. Wilson
6. Finnegan

I doubt we'll end up picking anyone up, but the thought of McFadden playing keeps me up at night.

Let's agree to disagree about Scandrick, not seeing same urgency or physicality that rest of D is playing with. If Mayowa deserved to be benched then I'd keep close eye on old man Scandrick too.

This is a huge loss. Claiborne was the best CB and probably the best defensive back on this defense. This is going to sting come playoff time......
