I'm not sure this will be may last incarnation of a mock this year or not. I guess it depends on how bored I get. My last one made it to another site for their worthless commentary. Gave me some good giggles. Especially the part about how I never studied up on Heath Benedict despite the fact I had him in 3 previous mock drafts. Ya gotta love that kind of "logic." ***** envy is hilarious.
Aw well, let's see how things shake out this time. Going to change things up quite a bit. I am still going to include a couple of trades. Previous versions below for comparison.

As always your comments and criticisms are welcome.
22. Jonathon Stewart, RB, Oregon, 5'10", 235. The toe injury drops him to #22, and with CB and WR needs being filled in trades Jerry takes the best RB on the board at that time. There si some risk when a RB comes from an option type offense. There won't be with this kid. He will run hard and contribute.
28. On the way to Detroit for Roy Williams. Detroit can posture all they want to try and drive up the price. It won't work. A 1st is all they can get out of him. Here's your "Wow" player opposite TO. 2008 will be a high scoring offense. Bet on it.
61. Charles Godfrey, CB, Iowa, 5'11", 207. It kills me to wave goodbye to Antoine Cason, but the truth is we probably wait until the 2nd round to take a CB and he will be long gone. Godfrey is one of several prospects who could be there for us in the 2nd. I chose him because his name has surfaced in a couple of blog articles.
92. Beau Bell, ILB, UNLV, 6'1", 244. Draft pick for the future and for Special teams in 08. Versatile and loves to play.
126. Jeremy Zuttah, OL, Rutgers, 6'3", 303. Projects to be the guy who replaces Kosier in a year or so. Kid can play.
163. On the way to Tennessee for Adam "Pacman" Jones.
167. Peyton Hillis, FB, Arkansas, 6'0", 240. That's right, no Owen Schmitt in this mock either. I think Hillis is in our plans.
235. Dominique Barber, SS, Minnesota, 6'0", 210. Another Barberian wanted. This one on Defense.
