Tenn. Ramsey
Cleve. Tunsil
San Diego Bosa

1st #4 Dallas - Leonard Floyd Georgia - best LDE in the draft. Has the best get off. He played a lot of linebacker but in this 4-3 he can put his hand down and go after the QB. 6'6 244 and can easily get over 250. Steps in day one at LDE and helps with Randy out is back and can play any linebacker position. Covered WR in the slot. Incredible combine numbers. Will eat up RTs. No trades here just a straight up mock.

2nd #34- Kenny Clark UCLA - will play the one and fits what Dallas wants at this position. Incredible production and can play the three. This 2nd round pick will be huge in how this draft plays out for Dallas. Derrick Henry or Dak Prescott are two players that could be here but they will strengthen the interior and pass rush and hopefully get more picks/turnovers from their corners.

3rd #67 -Braxton Miller WR Ohio - this guy will regain physically even more this coming season and can be the future #2 WR this team desperately needs. 4.32 40 at his pro day shows what type of player this guy can be as a vertical threat. Adolphus Washington or Charles Tapper are interesting here but not the difference maker Miller can be. This offense struggled in the passing game and it wasn't just Romo being out.

4th #101 Jeff Driskel QB- Here is our back up. Former #1 recruit. Great Arm and can run. Had production his senior year. Let's face it. If Romo goes down, it's better not to pay a vet back up. This kid has the tools and with 2 or 3 years could be the guy. If not, no big deal, he's a 4th round investment not eating up cap. If he loses, at least it gives Dallas a higher draft position and can still be looked at as a learning experience.

4th #135 Jonathan Jones CB - slot corner back. Could match him up with this pesky small agile WRs. Hopefully Scandrick is fully recovered if not this guy can take snaps immediately as a starter. This is a quality corner.

6th #189 Justin Simmons SS Boston College- Garrett would love to draft this type of kid in every round. Simmons and Byron would make tandem we haven't seen in a while. Church is around for one more year and Wilcox will not have us cringing.

6th #212 Keith Marshall RB Georgia- being the back up to two great running backs is a tough deal. Lance Dunbar is constantly injured and this guy could have a similar impact on crossing routes on 3rd down and being a change of pace back. Next year's draft will net DMC's replacement after his contract is up.

6th #216 Jakeem Grant WR-Sproles like in size and just as quick. They need playmakers with explosion which is why they brought this guy in to work out.

6th #217 Tyrone Holmes DE - comes from Montana and put up a monster sack year.

Floyd looks good, he's got great physical traits. He's have a role coming in on passing downs, but teams are going to run at him all day if you put him at LE on 1st and 2nd down.... at 4? I'm not a Bosa fan boy, but if you need a guy to play day 1 he's it. In your draft Dallas is in a bad spot because Ramsey is the guy I think they couldn't pass up and Bosa is the well he should be solid day 1 guy. San Diego likely won't take him over Buckner because they need a 5 tech and I don't think that's Bosa's natural position.

I like outside the box thinking, but if Floyd was my target I'd take virtually anything and trade down before I took him.

I don't think any of your guys start year 1.

If this were to occur the talk around the NFL post-draft would be about the Cowboys reaching for Floyd. He doesn't figure in the top 10, much less top 5.

If, if that were to occur we would be in the perfect position to either take whichever QB we wanted, or demand a kings random for a tradedown.
I would throw something (soft) at my TV if we were on the clock and took Floyd.
That would be Dallas' dream start to the draft.

Floyd would be a big reach especially playing a new position.

We already signed Ced Thornton to do what Clark would do. Clark can't rush the passer so he'd be a bad pick in the 2nd for me.

I don't dislike the rest of the draft, but 1st 2 rounds would be a failure there the draft is a failure.

1d hate the first 2 rounds. Floyd is a huge reach there and a 1 tech DT is not a need at the top of the 2nd.

Love all 4 of the 6th round picks.

If the first 3 taken are Ramsey, Bosa, and Tunsil then you will see the Boys trade down. Someone will want a QB and we can grab Elliot, Hargreaves, or Lawson.

A LDE plays vs the RT. I'm guessing people mean his other left. At LDE Floyd is getting blown off the ball by the RT and TE.

Floyd surprised me with his official height. Usually listed at 6-4, he was sandbagging it by two inches. I think he's better served with a 3-4 team though (so would Randy Gregory). We should look elsewhere, especially at 4. Football is a physical game and he isn't.

First off, he is being talked about as in the top 5 and top 10 NOW. Risen and Leadbelly are sleeping on old pre/mid season reports. I expect him to climb in Mock Drafts by the pundits so just hang in there for them to catch up.

Floyd measured 6'5 5/8 at the combine and put on 14 pounds since the end of the year. Experts say he can be up in the 250s at 6'6. He is certainly not intentionally being marked at 6'4 on purpose. He wouldn't be going against RT and TE though he certainly showed that he could this past season. The truth is Georgia's scheme didn't match what he does best. In Dallas, he could do that.

As this report says, he could start at LDE. He could also play SAM and then LDE in pass rushing situation. He would also be a great nickel MLB.
What I saw a physical and dominate pass rusher that was in the wrong scheme for his talent in Georgia.

I would be extremely upset if we took Floyd at 4.

Even if I would want him as a DE... You better trade down first.

No way no how at 4.

Hope.

Not interested in drafting a backup QB. Interested in a franchise QB. And you are not going to find one of those in the 4th round. This is career backup territory.

If you evaluators tell you these is a franchise QB at #4 and you have the opportunity to get him, the discussion is over. You take him and don't look back. Anything else is idiotic.

Which is why Jerry will likely not take one.

Last season really hurt hs stock....I don't know who Georgia's D-Coordinator was...but he was an idiot. (Hence why they all got fired) I watched Georgia 3 times last year...and for the most part had Floyd playing inside LBer.

If you watch his highlight tape when he's on the outside in 2013-14...it's outstanding. If we were still running the 3-4 D...I'd be jumping all over this guy. He's gotta get into the right scheme to be successful....And I don't think it's as a 4-3 strong side DE.

If the first 3 go like that, Wentz will be a cowboy

That's the direction I would go, and so would most fans here. But would the Boys take a QB at 4? That's the million dollar question. And it makes it more difficult if they can trade that pick away with the QBs on the board and pick up several more premium picks.
