Mock Draft Analysis Paralysis

Deunta Williams and Ahmad Black could walk in and start on day one, in my opinion.

1. Panthers...Da'Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson
2. Broncos...Nick Fairley, DE, Auburn
3. Bills...Blaine Gabbart, QB, Missouri
4. Bengals...A.J. Green, WR, Georgia
5. Cardinals...Cam Newton, QB, Auburn
6. Browns...Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama
7. 49ers...Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
8. Titans...Aldon Smith, DE, Missouri
9. Cowboys...Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

Me = :dance:

Would love to see that, just don't see it happening. Our dream would be for 3 QBs to go before us, and of course the nightmare is none of them go.

I'm still leaning towards the latter as none of the QBs seem close to being a finished product that can go that high.

Oye that's 10 Reasons why this player would make you go from "Oye" to we back to the "winning boyz"....

I think we all have realized that you have a man-crush for Cam. Just so you won`t be disappointed , there will be another running QB , that is a great college player, that has character issues in next year`s draft. There is one every year. They will not make it as a starting QB in the NFL. If Dallas passes on Cam , wait a year and I`m sure you can find another to pull for. As for the You Tube highlight video , It is a HIGHLIGHT video. Any QB looks great when only his good plays are shown.

I will never get the(your) infatuation with Peterson. You need to pick Quinn there
I like Quinn, and I almost put him in the top 9 and probably should have over one of the QBs. I just think for the value Peterson is the best player in this draft to suit our needs. Newman is getting old and we need guys who can cover. This kid can do that and then some.

I love those players but getting them in those slots would be near imposssible, imo.

I think you would need to move Carimi, Williams, and Black all up a round.
Plus, no way Fairley falls to #9.

We can dream though.

New England? Who do they want at 9 that they'd swap 1sts and give 2 2nds and a 3rd?

I think I had us dropping from 9 to 17 and picking up that teams 2nd rd pk (49). Then dropping down with some team other than NE;) and netting pick 32,64 and 96.

 Hos.

I think we hafta give Akwasi Owusu-Ansah a LEGITAMITE shot at winning the starting FS job. If we went out and got a guy like Mike Huff I wouldn't cry about it, but I would be dissapointed because it really would hamper the future progressions of AOA.

AOA is gunna be the man out here in Texas. I know yall gotta see it to believe it, but man this guy will be our savior in the secondary.

One reason why I like the signing of Rex Ryan (if he actually does sign that is...) is the fact that he let's his young guns get reps in games. He likes rotating guys around and experimenting with different personnel; and I think that will truly benefit Akwasi Owusu-Ansah.

Trust me folks, right now I may be getting the stone faces, but I know a good player when I see one. I've watched him in college, he's an intelligent young man who can grasp boatloads of knowledge, and he has that "it" factor in my opinion that you don't see out of just anybody. Yeah yeah yeah I know he didn't do much in the return game so many of yall say "was this guy sposed to be an athlete???", but trust me folks!
