McCoy has been in decline...honestly not sure if he’d even be much of an upgrade. Bigger fan of Jarret.

I don’t see a 2nd round pick?

Sorry, posted accidentally.

McCoy's contract isn't guaranteed so we can move on after one year if needed. I still rate him though.

Fair enough.

I like the players in your draft just not a fan of WR in the 2nd.

I’d also be pretty disappointed if we don’t draft a DT even if we sign a FA.

Most mocks I've seen have Paris falling to the 3rd round.
Kaden Smith would be an excellent choice in that slot.

Two WRs and a TE with our first three picks?

We’ve already got a great, young 1-2 punch at WR and Campbell is pretty raw so I’m not even sure he’d be an upgrade over Gallup long term.

Is actually rather have his teammate KJ Hill. More polished, better route runner and really good in the short / intermediate area. You can also have him a round later so much better value.

I really like KJ Hill too but he is going back to Ohio for another year. I'd have it as follows:
X: Cooper
Z: Gallup
SWR: Campbell

With Campbell running jet sweeps and playing outside when Cooper moves into slot.

I bet you a million dollars he does not run in the 4.4s.
Can you put that in escrow...

Lil'Jordan Humphrey is an unusual player. His lower body looks like a Running Back but he is 6-4.

He played in the slot almost exclusively, IIRC but he is 6-4.

He does not look fast but got wide open a fair amount.

They used him as a type of RB at times which is odd for a 6-4 WR.

Dang! Didn’t realize that about KJ.

Cambell just seems like a luxury pick to me. If we didn’t have a quality 2, I’d be in.

I’d rather have a lost dude.

I’d love too.

My guess is 4.55 or higher.

Im a fan, but he’s not fast.

Look at the 2016 season snaps:
Dez: 693----------------> Cooper
TW: 748-----------------> Gallup
Bease: 641-------------> ??
Butler: 429--------------> C.Wilson?
Lucky: 257--------------> ??
Mayle: 130--------------> N.Brown

To me a Beasley replacement is worth a 2nd round pick as he plays a significant role in the offense. I don't get how it's a luxury, IMO it's a gaping hole and we must prioritize in free agency or the draft or we're screwed.

But why are you looking at 2016 snaps...what are the 2018 snaps?

If we’re lookin at a Beas replacement I’d rather have a better slot option.

Because in 2017 Cooper appeared half way through the season, Gallup developed playing more in the second half, Austin got injured and there was an initial committee approach. It’s not a realistic representation of what to expect in 2019 where as 2016 probably is.

Last I checked they don't have a 6th round pick (Benwikere). McCoy is in rapid decline and rumor has it he's on the 1st plane to New Orleans if released.
Et has made it abundantly clear he thinks he should be the leagues highest paid safety. If he was willing to take 10m then Seattle wouldn't be refusing to negotiate with him.
Cooper is 24 and has 1000 yard seasons in 3 of the 4 years in the league. His starting point is going to be 18.
Dak still has a year on his rookie contract and can be franchised for 2 more. No one else in the league would contemplate giving him 25m a year at this stage, why would Dallas?

That makes sense.

I guess I just don’t see it as big of a need to address early. And if we are going to take a WR, I’d rather draft someone that’s more a slot guy or someone who is more polished.

I’d like to see us resign Austin. I’m also actually a big fan of Wilson who we took last year and am anxious to see what he can do. I saw him as a mid round talent when he was drafted.

It's not that different to 2nd and 3rd round corners and a 6th round safety.

We had way bigger holes in the secondary.

You are essentially drafting, what would be our #3 WR in the 2nd round.
