Im only about 4 rounds deep on being able to project right now. Brooks Reed probably goes higher.

I could tell it was a quickie, I've seen you get pretty in-depth on some other draft stuff.

What other positions would like addressed and with what picks ? Just asking ( it will give me something to think about).

Safety was the most glaring to me, even if we manage to sign Huff (which I'd love), we still don't really have a SS on the roster since Sensebaugh wants to get paid and I don't think he's worth what he thinks he's worth.

I'd also like some ILB depth, perhaps a DE and perhaps a HB, but we can get an UDFA for that purpose.

I don't usually agree w you..but it's obvious we both are locked on Jimmy Smith

Safety is a glaring concern. This year`s draft is really bad IMO when it comes to safeties. Sensebaugh is ready to cash in , but I hope Jerry doesn`t overpay. Huff would be the best option to replace Ball, but I don`t have a clue about a good replacement for Sensy. We need some depth at ILB. Maybe Ryan has some former players that could fit. Dallas needs a nickel LB. Who thought Barbie would be so hard to replace. I am trying to keep an open mind on the defensive side of the ball until the new staff has time to evaluate. Ryan may want a big NT. I don`t know what kind of changes to expect , but I`m sure he will want to have players that fits his system instead of Wades.

I think it makes a lot of sense if the 2 or 3 playes the Cowboys have targeted are not there.

I don`t like the Peterson pick at 9 , but Jerry would like his "wow" pick and I could live with that. If he trades up , my opinion of him would be like the rest of the Jerry haters on this board. As one scouting report reads , Peterson tries to play too cute , and after watching him the last couple of years , I agree.

You have got a point. I actually think he wants to win and has good intentions but he makes some bone-headed moves sometimes. I feel trading up in this draft for Peterson or any other player this year would be a big mistake. The Cowboys have too many holes to fill . IMO Peterson is not worth giving up the extra picks. I would not be shocked to see it happen. In fact, I am kind of expecting a bone-headed draft.

No trade down, or even up. Cowboys will stay pat and take the best available player who has the potential to start in 2011.
