You're always within the realm of reality with your stuff. It's always good and I appreciate reading it.

But....lol...

Do you really think Cooper is worth a very high 2nd?

And how much better does he make the Jets in exchange for his 20 plus million?

I mean, I'd make this deal in a second....and I do think Cooper is worth as high as a 3rd to the right win right now team.

Can't see how the Jets conclude this being the right move for them right now.

Jets are looking to help out their young QB, think a proven commodity could be attractive

Hey I hope you're right.

I predict he is flat out cut. That's the type of faith I have in this FO.

Comes down to if teams see the remainder of his deal as an asset or a deterrent.

20m is high for the production, but there's no bonus or no big cap hit to cut bait in two years.

Could go either way, but it would be a favor to Amari to just cut him so he can go where he wants. Watch and see if the buddies with the players factor doesn't play into this.

We have no idea what will happen, but you have to believe Cooper has legitimate trade value. He is a known commodity and still in his prime years. You are right, they may just outwrite release him as a favor.

Love picks 2-4 ......... have hard time using 24 for secondary help, especially if Brown, Hooker and Kearse return. In fact, IF that best value 24 , I'd rather trade down a bit select one of the 2nd tier edge guys.

Could be right, might be better to trade back in that scenario

Round one is DL , LB, or OL. Mathis in round 2 is a great pick. Jerry has never valued the safety position. In fact, he has never spent a first round pick on a safety.

Good one! I always think of him as a LB b/c he was huge and couldn't cover for shhheeeet but you are correct.
Byron Jones was also considered a CB/S. However, you are right, front office devalues the position and high unlikely they draft a safety in rd 1.

I considered Byron but he was a CB in college that we turned into a safety in a failed experiment.

Not a fan. Little to no help with the pass rush.

With just a draft class, hard to address everything.

Yes, but an exceptionally deep pass rusher class. And at least one terrible contract at the position to get out of. It’s a much higher priority for me.
