Count, I have to agree with Rack. What he was trying to say that Dayne won the Heisman and supposedly the best RB in college football when he came out. Where is he now? How many SB did he win?

I understand very well that Dayne was a bust, I just don't see what it has to do with Charles.

Earl Campbell also won a Heisman, was from Texas, was a running back and did pretty darn well in the NFL.

Charles didn't win a Heisman, wasn't mentioned in the running for the Heisman, isn't a slow plodder like Dayne. Isn't being discussed as the 1st RB taken, isn't even being discussed as a 1st round RB or being drafted as even the STARTING RB!

The only thing Dayne and Charles have in common is that at some point, they both played running back at the collegiate level. That's it.

What is your point exactly? That Charles is also a running back and also played in a college in the United States of America? Touche.



So it's not hate, it's just hate. Another sound argument.

As I've said before, it's not my job to sell anyone on any player, that's their job. But you have yet to give me a valid reason as to why you think he'll be a bad player.

This has got to be the first RB I've ever seen where people are knocking him BECAUSE of his athleticism. It's simply ridiculous.

In no way am I saying he's going to be the next Adrian Peterson, but to say someone wants to pick him up in the late 2nd and have guys come out of nowhere and say that is too high is silly, at least without any facts to back it up.

The valid knocks against him, in my opnion, are ball security and perhaps his vision and blocking at the next level.

Anyone saying "He looks like Cedric Benson II" is just blowing smoke.

How is that anyone thinking he reminds them of another version of Benson blowing smoke but because you think he's athletic it some how makes you a visionary?

Stupid remarks like that are exactly what will make people not take you serious at all.

Benson looked a lot like this kid Charles does when he was coming out only with Charles being faster. I'm not saying that Charles will not be better than benson and I'm not saying that he will be. I'm simply saying he reminds me a lot of Benson when he was coming out.

Nothing more. With that in mind, if I were picking, i wouldn't take him anywhere before the 3rd round at best. That doesn't make it right, doesn't mean he will suck, doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things other than I'm not real high on him. I wasn't real high on Benson either.

But, please, if you'd like your opinions on someone respected then maybe you should try adhering to that same theory when it comes to others.

Visionary? At what point did I say I was a visionary? As a matter of fact, if you took the time to actually read what I'm saying instead of picking stuff you can try to argue over, I say it's not my job to convince you of anything, that it's his job.

He reminds you of Benson because he's a running back and has short dreads and wears burnt orange. That's it. He's got better hands, is quicker, and doesn't run with as much power as Benson did in college.

Am I wrong, then please correct me. Cause you (or anyone else) still haven't said anything specific as to how the two compare other than the superficial.

You have the right to say you wouldn't draft the guy, what do I care, you're not drafting anyone. And trust me, the day I need your respect, is the day I jump off the Brooklyn Bridge.

Oh, and for the record, I wasn't high on Benson either. But I would have taken Benson with a late pick in the 2nd round at the time as well.
