Well as many of you asked, here I am Monday morning. I thought I have to eat crow so this feels different for a change. I'm not here to gloat and here are some obversations from the game that might interest you.

First off, I though the Saints would lose. Everybody thought the Saint would lose. That's what we do. The Cowboys laid an egg. Your team is better than that. Way better. I guess what really hurts is that Dallas really has no excuses.

T.O. has no heart. Where did he go last night? Saints CB Fred Thomas is an average CB. He got beat like a drum against the Bengals WR Charles Johnson. I thought TO would own him.

Romo is a pretty good QB but Leon can't do it all. He looked like a young QB still learning how to play the game. The Saints played outstanding defense (can't believe I said that) and Romo had nowhere to throw the football. Usually Dallas's offense is designed to let Romo makes plays outside the pocket. This creates a match up problem with the Saints because the Saints DL was built to stop Mike Vick. Our DE are fast and know how to rush the passer. Compared to Vick, stopping Romo's scrambling was childs play. What I can't believe is that the Saints defense had everything down field covered.

Your cast off LBs continue to play outstanding football. I would like to thank everyone involved.

Romo is no Brees. 1/2 a season does not a quarterback make. Here to hoping the this game was a fluke for Romo.

The Saints may have taught the league how to stop the Cowboys offense and exposed how to exploit the Cowboy's defense. One thing is for sure, we gave the Cowboys something to think about.

My biggest fear for Cowboy fans is that Atlanta is a very good team. If the Saints lose to them, the Falcons record would be 9-4 instead of 7-6. Atlanta is capable of playing up to a 9-4 record or a 4-9 record. I look for them to be up for the game. Romo will be tested. There running game is unbelievable. They can eat the clock up. This is no cake walk.

Come on Dallas... Beat the Falcons. I don't want to play them again and besides, you owe us big. We will be pulling for you.

In the end it was like I told you. Pick your poison. The Saints offense reminds me of the Rams Greatest Show on Turf a few years ago, but unlike many Rams teams, the Saints defense can make some plays too. The Saints #1 offense is a match up nightmare for defenses and (I can't believe I'm saying this) for real.

See ya in the NFC Championship Game!!!! That would be great. We don't want to play in Chicago in January.

I disagree. I am the 2nd Biggest T.O. hater on this board behind Mrs. LTN.

Anyway, the Cowboys coaching staff has to be more creative in trying to get arguably the best Wideout in football the ball.

Terrell Owens isnt a good enough athlete to take the ball from Center and then throw the ball up himself and run a pass route to catch it. He needs a creative thinking coach to help him get the ball in his hands.

I just dont understand why it is so easy for decent defenses to take this guy out of the game plan.

good luck to you against the Giants & Eagles... thank you in advance

I was thinking the same thing. All I can say is WOW. I would have never thought the Saints defense could stop your offense so completely.

Hats off to Payton for Great Game planning and Brees for being dead on with everything. Your Welcome for the Cast off LB's, but last nite aside, they still would have Trouble making this team. Payton knows we have trouble with Screens, so again a tip of the Hat, However like everybody else, I think the Cowboys got away from the Run to Early, but Romo's INT changed to Tempo of the game. BTW, T.O. does have heart.::bow:

Congratulations on a well-deserved win.

I haven't seen the Cowboys beaten like that in a long time.

The Saints appeared to be able to do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted.

They probably could have hung 60 on the Cowboys last night, and that was without Joe Horn and a gimpy Colston!

If the Saints can play that well consistantly, they should be the NFC representative in Miami.

I sure wouldn't want to see them again in the playoffs.

Again, congrats on a big win. You've shown us that the Cowboys still have a lot of work to do.

Please, if we somehow fluke up and play them in the Superdome they'll win 56-10. They've owned us for a decade and will continue to do so with Payton as coach as long as we have this same personnel and coaching staff.

yeah I would say TO had heart for this game...on that long JJ run he was trailing just in case something happened like a fumble or something

Definately wasnt a fluke, Payton owned Zimmer and beat him like a red headed step child. Brees spread the ball around and controlled the game nicely. Dallas got whipped on the Oline, Dline and at Safety and I dont see why it would be any different in a second matchup.

That is most disturbing of all is that Dallas made Fred Thomas look like Champ Bailey last night. I will never be able to figure that one out.

He is running a LOT of diversion. He is running a lot of DEEP outs to run these diversions... The Dallas coaches are taking him out of the game-plan... You can be thrown to a LOT, but it is meaningless if your throwing to him in double-coverage, with safety-help... Do you ever see TO running a quick-out OVER THE MIDDLE on a first down?

We tend to attack the edges a lot.. NO has quick but small linebackers, and we should have physically man-handled them... we don't exploit the weaknesses of other teams that well... this is a COACHING issue...

Seriously, the Saints were dropping back in coverage, begging the Dallas Cowboys to run, and we kept trying to take shots upfield, instead of forcing NO to bring men up...

Hey I understand your optimism after a BIG win. You handed us our butts in everyphase of the game. But it was still only one game. I have a few issues with your "observations".

"Romo is no Brees"? First off what has Brees done? Gotten a team to a Super Bowl? NO! Won in the Playoffs? NO! (Lost to the Jets even!) So since when is Brees a measuring stick for QB's?

Taught the league how to stop us? Uh... we abanoned our running game, which you couldn't stop, because we were down so much so fast. We ran the ball 12 times in the game. You better be able stop a one dimensional offense that is down 21-7 or you'll never make it anywhere.

As for "the greatest show on turf". Allow me to remind you of the Bengals game in which you had almost 600 yds of offense, and totaled 16pts.??? And it's not like your defense is gonna keep teams from scoring and create points for your offense either. It sounds like the Colts to me, yeah you can score points, but if a team sticks it out with the running game your offense will never see the field. Not to mention the performance they had against the Ravens. Yeah, Brees had good fantasy numbers, but it all came in garbage time, you were never in the game thanks to his 3 picks?

Again while I admire your optimism, make sure it's guided and realistic.

Um, they already lost to Baltimore. Is this guy really a Saints fan, or just pretending to be one, because I'm not one and even I knew that?

If you can run the #1 offense in New Orleans, you should be anoited.
The Bengal game was filled with turnovers. We stopped ourselves.

What's with all the "I don't want to play you again stuff?" Don't you want a rematch? You owe us and you have to beat the best to be the best anyway. Would you rather play in Chicago in January.

See you in the playoffs.
