Great points. And a lot of people love to use the word unstoppable when describing teams on here without realizing teams are not going to stay playing at that level throughout a season. I also agree on Manning he is a great regular season QB but the trend with him has always been as you get later in the season he starts to get worse. These last few years in Denver have definitely shown that.
I made the point earlier in the year that Denver looked so good because they had played so many home games. In the last half of the year, most of their games have been on the road.

Yeah I was just saying that I doubt we have to worry about neither of them adding another SB to their case.

I'd much rather see NE win another one before Pitt. Pitt fans are insufferable.

Well, my best friend from childhood is a longtime Pitt fan who talks a big game and my in-laws are Patriot fans. It is a lose-lose for me unless Denver can sneak in somehow :(

Yep. I don't like the word unstoppable in sports. Any team in pro sports can be stopped. We have seen it over and over. Manning has a big tendency to have his teams looking great early on and in the regular season but they usually sputter in the postseason.

If Denver loses next week, do they drop to the 3 seed? Or is the 2 seed locked up for them? I'd love to see them drop out of a bye.

Not sure. I know if Cincy wins and they lose they will drop to 3. If they lose and Pitt wins then I 'm not sure who has the tiebreaker in that scenario.

Yeah they have had a lot of road games. Man who the **** did the NFL schedule this year. It is really jacked up this year. A lot of division rematches close together, the Sunday night and then Thursday game, stacking teams with a lot of home games early and then road games late. Somebody was not paying attention this year.

Agreed. AFC is weak overall. Top heavy with NE but honestly, I put NE behind the 3 NFC teams you listed. I think any of those 3 can beat them.

after what I saw yesterday with NE struggling to beat the Jets I think you are right.

I'll definitely be rooting for Cincy to win if Denver loses next week. No idea who Denver plays, though. I'm sure its a West team, though. If Cincy somehow sneaks into a bye, that will definitely show how weak the AFC is.

NE has had a great decade plus run due to how putrid the AFC East. They have won the division every single year Brady has been the starter but once. And that one time was when he was hurt the whole season. They get a free pass to the playoffs every single year. You can kind of say it will be the same for the Colts and the South. Terrible division. And I just think the NFC overall has been stronger than the AFC for a long time now.

Oakland at home. That's probably a win but Oakland has been better lately. I don't think it is a guarantee at all of NE/DEN AFC championship game.

Romo is better than manning right now

As long as Peyton Manning is the quarterback for Denver they are never going to win a Super Bowl. Classic choke Manning at the end of every season as this guy can't play in bad weather.

Whoever did our Sunday Night @NY/Eagles Thanksgiving schedule should be fired. That was the stupidest thing I have ever seen and it most likely cost us the number 1 seed. It was totally unfair to this team.

On another note, The Steelers never left their time zone and got to play 3 of the last 4 against teams that played on MNF. How fair is that?

Man you are knocking it out tonight. Yes on NE having an automatic 5-6 wins in that division and the same with the Colts in the AFC South. Two of the worst teams in football play in that division. I also don't think there is any hatred towards the Colts from those teams. Even when Washington or the Giants are down like this year they hate the Cowboys and give us hell. The Jags, Titans have no ill will for the Colts.

I wouldnt go as far as to call him a choker as much as his team isn't as good as other teams have been throughout his career. He does struggle on cold weather though. But he got his ring and that means a lot in my book.

I still can't believe they did that. I didn't even notice it until a few weeks before the Eagles game.

Why does Manning look so miserable? He doesn't seem right.

The bigger issue is that he can't move. He looks about as fluid as a totem pole. Combined with the fact that Denver's offensive line is not very good in pass protection, Denver is doomed. Too bad too, because they've got a legit defense. Not that it matters much, in the AFC, it's the Patriots and everyone else. I give the Steelers a punchers chance but a very remote one.

I'll be very curious to see how Denver handles Peyton after this year. I think he's done.
