Jets coach may be on borrowed time if they don’t play better defense.

Their defense was a sieve last year.

49ers even without McCaffery, once again, are just a sight to see as a team.

Things were slow to start but they made adjustments are are now on top

Do you remember Dave Shultz and the Broad Street Bullies of the mid 70s
Yes I do. They broke my heart. lol

On a somewhat related note. John Leclair, one of the Legion of Doom line in Philly, is a hometown boy. His father built an awesome rink with boards, lights and a homemade Zamboni. John was 6 years younger than me so for a brief period of time I had the chance to skate circles around a future Stanley Cup champion. A very brief period of time.

Brock Purdy playing very well vs a terrific defense, and without Christian McCaffrey.

What will the excuse be this time?

He's a damn good QB, doesn't matter when he was drafted.

Excellent decision maker and that's the most important trait for a QB.

I think people question HOW GOOD he is as if he's a top 5 guy or top 10.

I personally think he's one of the best in the league.

It's worth noting the 49ers have always had a running game. That's Shanahan's MO. I didn't really understand why they felt the need to get McCaffery but I mean they were so deep everywhere else might as well get the best back in the game.

While I agree.....think we may be overrating the Jets just like we seem to have may be overrating the Browns......
Browns and Jets are similar. I still don’t understand why they did that trade for Reddick. The guy wants a big payday that is why the Eagles traded him. The Eagles seem to find a sucker every minute.

When things go right for them and they get into a rhythm, it’s hard to get up off the floor as an opponent.

But the reverse is sometimes true. If you can get up on them, Shanny’s offense isn’t really designed erase 2+ possession deficits.

Way easier said than done though.
