You can't play like that. You put your best team out there and adjust for injuries etc. You can be prudent but this plan is overly so IMO.

I like the idea, but I don't think it would work... personally both QBs would probably become frustrated. WRs would probably start taking sides... just not good for team cohesion

Yep. Both Morton and Staubach hated it and it was starting to split the lockerroom. It was only after Staubach was named the starter that the team turned it around.

In theory it might work. But egos would have to be put aside. But in this day and age, that is a virtual impossibility.
