Little piggy will never care about anything more than he cares about his stats for this season. Better enjoy it folks cause after the last regular season game in over he will never be the same.
This is such a cheap shot. Where does “little piggy” come from?

Him and OSA are the same
Great start, fizzle at the end
Comparing Osa to one of the most skilled pass rushers in the league is ridiculous.

I’m honestly not sure what type of player could actually be welcomed and praised on this site.

Parsons will not be lining up at DE as much as last year. We are going to see Williams, Kneeland, and Gholston playing more DE on early downs with Parsons at LB chasing plays. He should be more effective when used only in passing situations or run blitzes. A guy who can't win with power or set the edge becomes a guy that the OT gets way too familiar and comfortable with over the course of all those snaps during a game.

For edge rushers, Micah was double teamed on 35% of his pass rush attempts. Next highest was 29% (Garrett).

Micah had a pass rush win rate of 35%. Next highest was 30% (Garrett).

PRWR is the percentage of time that a rusher beats a block within 2.5 seconds of the snap.

TJ Watt, who led the league with 29 sacks was only double teamed 19% of the time and his PRWR was only 25%.

Hendrickson was second in sacks with 17.5 but was only double teamed 18% of the time and only won 21% of his attempts.

Teams clearly feared Micah and dedicated more resources to stop him than they did any other player. It wasn’t particularly close.

He also rushed the passer less than most edge rushers. Watt had 60 more plays rushing than Micah did as a comparison.

Micah was pretty unique last year. He’s a pass rushing savant.

Coaching and schemes play a major role in sacks and the stats back that up. But, since this is the Zone, I’m sure the *real* reason he didn’t get 20 sacks is because he had a podcast, tattoos, uses boxing in his training and attends NBA games in the off-season.
Lol this why i dont trust next gen stats. Yall really think Watt , (3 time nfl sack leader, nfl record for most sacks in a season , DPOY )was doubled team only 19 percent of the time? Pass rush win rate is so damn subjective

Well, if you say so. I’m sure you watched every snap he played with your legal pad and pencil.

“Last gen stats” would seem to be more along the lines of “the eye test”.

"Parsons is not a DE"

Proceeds to be one of the best DEs

He is a pass rush specialist. Needs to be a complete player for the contract that he wants in my opinion.

Maybe if he just played on 3rd downs he would have more energy and would not wear down half way into the season. He would most likely have more sacks at the end of the year.

I think he will have the same year. Crazy highlight reel plays, posting a bunch of vids showing he was held, and always standing up when a tackle is made near him. I wish and hope he wants to be the best but it’d be hard to point to anything that would lead one to believe he’s determined and dedicated like that.

Frankly, he seems bored and in need of attention. Would love it if he had Sean Lee’s mentality.

Yeah, im comparing Parsons to Osa
The reason you have a problem on the site is because your English comprehension is at a 5th grade level apparently and nuance (please google the meaning) is lost on you

Of course, they all do it, then Jerry wets his pants and pays up! That's why we haven't won anything in 28 years...

This guy is scattered. When you're young and stup..well let just immature;
wants to play different positions including offense, spokesperson, social media guru and mouthy, etc.

Doesn't seem like he's totally focused and dedicated. Maybe that's part of being a Dallas Cowboy.

I don't expect any difference. For Parsons every year is a career year for most.
