The OL was garbage against the Giants front.

That’s why you don’t run an empty backfield set and pass on first and goal from the 7. It’s like our coaching staff goes braindead.

This game showed the value of run-stopping front four. We can’t say the FO didn’t try to get one as they signed Poe and McCoy but it just didn’t work out and it cost us several games this season. IMO, fixing our from four is too priority, esp since fixing the coaching staff will likely not happen.

Thing is.. if you're going to go empty backfield you HAVE to make sure all the pass rushers are accounted for. That's on the QB to see a guy lined up outside AND a guy lined up on the tackle to know that means one of them is going to be unblocked.. So you either call timeout or change the play.. But you do NOT just drop back and HOPE somebody picks up one of those guys..

It's been a staple of Moore's repertoire since he took over and it almost never works to our favor regardless of who is at QB. I was really hoping he took the Boise gig..

Makes you wonder if offensive game preparation was hurt by the Boise stuff. Reminds me of Richard taking off and interviewing for a head coaching job before our playoff game and the defense was terrible in that game.

To a degree I understand why McCarthy was not more in charge of the offense this year.. He is still learning the offense himself.. I fully expect him to be a lot more involved next year and if he isn't I will help pack up his house so he can move out of Dallas.. Moore's red zone play calling needs to go.. Period..

A veteran QB has to see that and either change the play or call timeout. You can't just sit there and let the free runner come hit you..

It wouldn’t necessarily happen that way with an extra blocker (RB) in the game, or better yet if we had ran the damned ball. They did the one thing anyone with a brain knows you shouldn’t do.
