Talent acquisition since 2010 has been very good.

Shocking that people still haven't recognized that fact.

It's funny when I still see our 2009 draft brought up.

Not funny, sad.

That class should be entering year four and be key contributors or at least solid depth.

And we've got absolutely nothing to show for it.

Will go down as one of if not the worst in team history.

Nothing funny about that.

Jerry traded our 1st and 3rd for Roy Williams, while Wade pushed for Jason Williams in the 3rd. And oh, they let Max Unger slip between their fingers in the 2nd round. Truly a disastrous offseason.

I would rather concentrate on the positives of this signing as I feel very good about it and feel it can only add quality knowledge, experience, and depth to the offensive line.

Can't complain about that!

This is fantastic! I don't know how he'll play or if it will work out, but I love that the team is at least TRYING to improve the OL.

This move should bolster our ground attack. A running game is a quarterback's best friend. "Ground & Pound" is the Jets' MO. B-Moore was a big part of that. Callahan likes to pound the rock. Seems like a perfect fit. DM29 should have a big year.

What's even better? Romo shouldn't be running for his life 7-10 times a game. Nor should he feel like he has to do too much. If our projected starters (Smith-Leary-Fred-Moore-Free) remain healthy, we are gonna make some noise. Give Romo a running game and time to throw? He may be the MVP this year.

Those signings...if we are being realistic and not just looking to bash the front office....were doomed by injuries.

Can you predict injuries?

Other than to Matt Johnson I mean
.

I'm pulling for Johnson but this is laugh out loud funny... :D

I think this has a lot to do with Leary's progress. If he wasn't ready, we'd have to start a vet in Livings or Bern (prob Livings since he's on the left side). With Leary now in the lead, that puts 2/3rd of the line in there with no NFL game experience. For arguments sake, let's say Arkin was also just barely passable at RG. Putting him in woulmena our whole interi
don't forget him blessing us bernadeau and livings for a year. that dead money is going to be awesome!
Yes, because they both received 50 million dollar 25 year contracts.

Some guys just want to be unhappy *until* the wins are on the board. Personally, that takes way too much fun out of what's supposed to be a passtime, but it's clearly the case.

and some people want to see results and not just be cheerleaders.

This is due to injuries? LOL blaming their pathetic play on injuries is a new low in homerism...wow. Bengals fans were jumping for joy when they got rid of Livings and Bernadeau couldn't start on a crappy panthers oline.

Anyways I don't want to bash Jerry too much right now b/c I'm feeling a little positive coming off the preseason game and this Moore signing. But he gets very little credit for this. He still wasted another year of his pro bowl QBs prime by having him play behind those sapless bums. Everyone knows he's a football idiot and everyone knows that that Livings/Bernadeau experiment was going to fail MISERABLY. I'm just happy he didn't try to force it down our throats again this year.

It did. It was ignored and then got old all at once. The entire thing had to be torn down and rebuilt.

It's like you want an apology from Jerry for the neglect that happened 7 years ago.

I mean....wow.

Strawmen, mischaracterization and unfactual facts and you're still losing this argument, lol.

Bernie & Livings was an effort to fix the problem on the cheap and we got what Jerruh paid for.

I'm curious to see how we approach the right side of the line next offseason. Moore is a upgrade now but not for the future. Hoping we go dline in round one then maybe guard in round 2 of draft. I'm sick of signing offensive linemen castaways

Adding a vet like this is a very smart move. I like this signing....

Callahan knows this player.....and Moore knows the system.

I really like what JG and the front office is doing ........we have been heading in the right direction
even tho are record is .500 the past 2 seasons. Were young....and we have some very good talent.

Now....."How bout them Cowboys!!!!"

This approach makes sense to me. I'd love to finding a franchise 3-tech and a starting guard next draft.

That would be year five.

I hope they ease Moore in as I am sure he needs to get his legs under him. I don't want to see quad and hamstring issues pop up. Let Bern play until Moore is ready to go.

@RapSheet: Guess Brandon Moore slept fast. He has agreed to a 1-year deal with the #Cowboys, source says.

@AdamSchefter: After reaching agreement Tuesday with Cowboys, former Jets G Brandon Moore has decided to retire, per ESPN source.
