And Romo is just going to dash out of the booth, in playing shape and ready to save the day?

If that is really what the plan is and that crafty Jerry Jones found a way to stash him without paying him or chewing up a roster spot, that is a foolish plan.
Romo isn't going to save the day Dak goes down, which is why I said Kellen is the in-game backup as long as Dak is the starter. But if a long term backup is needed to start for Dak then yes, Romo is the guy. You don't have to love the plan but wise up in knowing this is the Jones's plan.

Wise up and realize that really is the plan? I actually don't believe that for a second, nobody is that unintelligent and foolish, right?

Maybe I am giving too much credit to Jerry Jones by discounting the idea. If true, he really is a clueless lunatic to have that really be the plan.

Do you not recall Jerry calling up Vinny Testaverde off his couch? Romo can do at least as well.

And name the teams that do and there you go, those are the teams that can survive more than a game or two absence from their starter to make a post season.

Moore quite simply should be a third stringer or better yet, on the coaching staff as an intern or something.

And let's be very clear here. Just because QBs are scarce is no excuse for Kellen Moore.

You cannot have steak on every plate and blah blah blah. I get it. But there is no excuse for what is on ours.

Only a handful of teams like Detroit and Seattle can claim they have worse in terms of talent.

Our backup quarterback for a signficant injury to Dak is Tony Romo. I guarantee you.

You people kill me....If it wsn't for this freak injury...Moore would be your starting QB. He's better than Prescott. Makes better decisions. More accurate. Smarter.

I'm gonna laugh when people are calling for Kellen to start because Prescott is struggling. Dak doesn't have Romo to turn to for answers anymore. Gonna be real interesting to see if Prescott is the real deal or just a one year wonder that was coached up from the sidelines.

You can't say hey...I get it there is a lack of quality QBs then say....hey why don't we have a better QB?!?

He will wear his uniform under his suit in case he has to go straight in
I don't think romo ever plays again. If Dak went down for the year you would likely be out of the playoffs before Tony was ready to play
Better off just play Moore and get that top 10 picks where we can get our war daddy

Sorry, just being a smart***. But in all fairness, you didn't specify. I know what you meant.

You asked, I answered.....

No problem at all.

Garrapolo. That's it. My point is, nobody has a good backup. There's no such thing really. A good backup is a starter soon elsewhere.

There are about 15-20 good quarterbacks in the world at any given time. That's it. Ain't no more. They're like abino aligators..
