Not going to lie, I’d be awfully tempted to veer them towards the BMW. With today’s hidden cameras and surveillance, knowing my luck someone would see me talk to them and I’d be a “person of interest” in the case. LOL

With no sound, you would have plausible deniability. You could just say you were asking them where the nearest ATM was. If there were one in the store, and you withdrew 40 bucks from it, that would boost your plausible deniability even more.
