Chase Daniel is sneaky good signing for Eagles. Reunites him with Peterson. Philly now has solid 1-2 punch at QB. They also absolutely robbed the Dolphins and move up from #13 to #8 in draft by trading away Kiko Alonso (injured for 2 years) and Maxwell who was absolutely horrible last year. Eagles are now positioned for Elliot in draft that would transform division. We should remember the Eagles have fairly dominant DL with Fletcher Cox & Bennie Logan. I kind of like philly strategy of just trading away FA they no longer like to move up in draft. I don't know if Dallas lacks creativity of just don't have trade partners but we rarely see Dallas make trades anymore.

BTW: Eagles swap 4th rounders with Texans in Murray trade.

I see the eagles as making horrible moves. They paid a career backup QB for 7 million per year. We wouldn't even pay the AP Offensive player of the year that much.
They also overpaid for the Texans lineman who is said to be lazy and overweight.

I am not too worried about them. They seemed to have dumped salary and picked up salary of questionable players.
Chase Daniel is way overpaid.

I don't want them getting Zeke Elliott though......so I guess we will just have to take him first. haha

Terrible if you ask me. 36 million dollars for an average QB and another 21 million for a backup that's insane. Let them take Elliot he'll be a bust with that OL and no WR threat .

you make good point Elliot could struggle behind that OL.

you're worried about sam bradford and chase daniel?

ok.

no. I am worried that Eagles have more creativity to use FA who haven't worked out to move up in draft and Dallas hasn't had trade partner in what feels like years.

Eagles got rid of demeco ryans, demarco, maxwell, and alonso. Who are their replacements? I'd hold off on being concerned until that question is answered because i still see a crappy secondary, linebacker corp, and o-line

I still don't see them taking Elliott. I think they'll take Stanley if he's there. Pederson is a Reid clone and Reid never invested high picks in RBs but rather OL.

Their OL just got better today. They signed one of the best OGs available.

Brooks? Ehhhh, not someone i would break the bank for. He's not known for having a great work ethic i believe

They still have Bradford, no legit RB (as of yet) , and no legit wr. Not scared.

The Eagles have a horrible track record in Free Agency from the assembly of The Dream Team to The Chips Ahoy! Collection last year

FA is not over, their biggest need is OG, and they intend on getting them in the off season. BTW, wait until we march out Romo and one of the Moore boys, our 1-2 punch will be just as impressive!

There is a good chance whoever they get at 8 they could have drafted at 13. They will just pay more.

I would have preferred a stand alone 3rd round pick(unless they are trying to come up for a QB).

He wouldn't even make our football team unless he could play center +guard

LOL. Because we already have two all world guards.

The Eagles had slop playing OG for them the last season. Brooks is an upgrade for them. Denying that is pretty silly.

Who's denying he's an upgrade ? But the price they paid for him is outrageous. He's an average starting guard.

Huh. So the guy they could draft at would likely still be there at 13?

That makes no sense. What if they want Stanley or Jack? They going to be there at 13?

You'll note I never said anything about his contract. I just simply responded to a person who said the OL stinks by saying they upgraded their OL today signing Brooks.

I think all the guys after the top5 are all pretty interchangeable. The order will be decided by what the teams needs.

The player they get at 8 isn't going to be worth the players they could get at 13 and 76 combined.

Tunsil
Goff
Wentz
Bosa
Ramsey

then 6-18 are all pretty equal
