Maybe because he didn’t want itIf Tyron is finally healthy, I have to question why this surgery wasn’t done 3 years ago.

A healthy smith for 14 games is well worth itHe's missed at least 3 games for the last half-decade. With a 17-game schedule, 2 missed games would be an absolute blessing.

At 70% he’s a beastI would definitely take that. But im being conservative with "at least two". And then usually when its 2 or 3 he is playing at 70% for another 3.

In 2019 he missed 3 games and was not 100% in a few more
He gave up one sack
He missed 3 games in 2019 and wasn’t 100% in a few moreI agree, but the reason he's missed games is because he's never healthy. The best the team has gotten out of him since about 2015 is a hobbled Smith. Still not bad, but let's not pretend health is a given with this guy. The odds of him missing 2-3 games and being 100% in all others seems pretty damn slim.
Add a little positivity in your life lolfast forward to Week 1 for the 2021 season - Dak, La'el, Tyron questionable.
Dak - needs re-evaluation on leg
Tyron - back
La'el - out of shape, but official ruling is hip issues...
He doesn’t have to be 100% to beat his guyWhats your point?

He’s well worth having for 10 healthy games a few gimpy and miss 3-4 games
Because he’s cheap for the talent and he’s one of the best in the game even when injured some
He didn’t have off season hip surgery. But Collins did look thin.
I’d wait and see how the surgery workedYep..........and my point is that no matter how great his shape appears to be, he will still miss games and have health issues.
But now your pushing it with 10 healthy games. Need someone more reliable than 10 games. I personally would move on and address the position in the offseason if that is all he can be relied upon for.
They are practicing being healthyIt's a very good thing when Dak, Tyron, and La'el are all on the practice field healthy. Wait, are we talking 'bout practice?
