You don't have to perfect it but their critiques go beyond what it should be sometimes.
Sure there are, but if we took him at # 28, he would have to be a starting CB. Then, Like Dez - could you really afford to use him in the return game, as he would now be a starter at CB. Knowing that the return game is a big part of his repertoire.
Especially with his size and now the extra pressure of both duties - I may be wrong, I just don't see it.

It seems like if you aren't a top 10 pick they act like everyone else is overrated but cover themselves up by saying (but he has potential ) or some bs. And I don't like how these scouts aren't held accountable for their words because they're anonymous. I just don't like that personally.
Thanks for the explanation. They sure got Anthony Brown wrong. LOL!

I don't think a cb at 28 starts week 1 unless he clearly outplays Carroll who is essentially on a one year deal himself I believe. But I'm kind of off the Adoree bandwagon anyway, but if we took him I wouldn't be mad at all.

Lol these things annoy me how smug these scouts are.
It also reminds me why NFL teams go wrong so often. Many scouts and other football people are just not great with logic. Their whole thought process often seems like a fail. Much like Broaddus, it seems that many of these guys might have been in the bottom half of their graduation class.

I think most or all of them could look at 2 players at a position and pick the better player IF they didn't have any other information. Once they start trying to add in other issues (combine, players mental makeup, their team's scheme, etc.., then they seem to go haywire with their logic).

I think the scout nails it with Kevin King, great size, length, speed, just not a very good football player

Kevin King is one of the most overrated players in this draft. I will Hulk Hogan leg drop the dog if he's the pick at 28.

Facebook live that stuff. I'll be sure to warn PETA if this happens.
He's not maching his workouts IMO. He's a younger, inexperienced version of Carr.

Are any of you very familiar with Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado.

That guy intriques me
Yea, Witherspoon's been getting absolutely no love. I would love it if we took him. I'm guessing it's his tackling that's the biggest issue, but I think his ceiling is as high as any. Someone who we could get late second or better yet, mid third if we could acquire an extra pick.

Interesting that Kevin King is getting all the hype, but Witherspoon is very similar--superb athlete, stacked secondary--but going unnoticed.

Very interesting. I'll take the non-name brand 6'3" CB two rounds later.

I think King is thought of as more of a polished player. I was reading his draft profile and he only played a year of highschool football and started his collegiate career at a junior college before transferring to Colorado. Another fun fact is that he was only 5'8" as a HS senior!
