Why is this FUNNY?

Only Philthy Eagles fans stoop this low when it comes to other teams' injuries.

Come on...we have more class than this.

Just passing news along buddy, who the hell is laughing?

Jesus. This thread title scared the crap outta me. Smoot is fine. He practiced today.

Yeah, I was going to say Smoot was nicked up yesterday.

What kind of offseason conditioning program you guys running over there? 1 day in and injuries-a-plenty.

That picture will never ever go away

In fact from now on, everytime i respond to a skins fan, its going to be with this picture

It gets to where I look for opportunities to go off on juvenile homophobic digressions just so I can bring up that picture. It's the Skins equivalent to the our pic of Jerry dancing with Urkel. There's no antidote for it.

I am glad the Cowboys are practicing in the cooler conditions of Southern California. It is about 100 here in Virginia today and I don't care how good of shape you are you get tired in that kind of heat. The weaker you are the more susceptible to injuries you are.

Not that we won't have injuries but those are tough conditions

When I read a title about a Skin going down, I immediately think 'Chris Cooley.'

Then I realized the thread was about injuries.

Really... Commanders are in our division? I would have never guessed.

I was being sarcastic, but seriously, if that deal came up, don't think that JJones wouldn't jump on it wholeheartedly no matter if they are in our division or not.

I guess you haven't seen any Skins games lately.... or realize that they just hired a new... Snyder assistant to play coach?

If the Commanders made the playoffs last season? Be forreal I hope nfl east think like cowboys fans and other people. You know how Cowboys take games off playing team. If that the Commanders that hold cowboys to 1 total yard last season? That was my first time seening a team hold a team to 1 total rushing yard. Why would u say "I guess you haven't seen any Skins games lately" the Commanders look real good last five games of last season. Good luck this season

NOT! I wouldn't trade quality players to the Skins. Maybe he isn't a pro bowler, but he is a solid player.

THANK YOU nyc!!! All these people who want to run Spears out of town are nuts. Spears is a more than capable, and solid DE in our 3-4 defense. Sorry, But I don't want to lose Spears. At least not this year.

Like you said, Spears may not be Pro Bowl bound anytime soon, but he is good enough to start on an already talented Dallas Cowboys' team. Nuff said!

Jul 20, 2008 09:52 PM CDTSmoot falls to ankle injury

The News
The Commanders have been rather busy today, losing two players for the season to injury, then adding a Pro Bowl-caliber defensive end in Jason Taylor via trade, and now we have word that cornerback Fred Smoot has also fallen to injury, according to the Washington Post.
comments_icon.gif
Our View
Smoot sprained his left ankle in the afternoon practice, during an 11-on-11 drill. Coach Jim Zorn said he's hoping Smoot will be out less than a week. They will update his situation later this week, but for now, it sounds like the injury is minor.
Jul 20, 2008 09:47 PM CDTSkins also lose Buzbee for the season
news_icon.gif
The News
While the move to add Jason Taylor rules the day's headlines, the Commanders have quietly announced defensive end Alex Buzbee was carted off the field with an ankle injury suffered during special-teams practice this afternoon, is done for the season, according to the Associated Press.
comments_icon.gif
Our View
Buzbee ruptured his right Achilles tendon while back-peddling during a punting drill. A first-year player who spent last season on the practice squad, Buzbee is well regarded for his intelligence and work ethic. Had he not fallen, the Skins might have reserved on the trade for Taylor, but with he and Phillip Daniels both lost for the season, the Fins were able to get the deal done.

i don't blame you dude. injuries this soon really suck. hopefully both teams (and well all teams) can get out of camp w/o too many losses.
