I feel confident we’re going to have a great option fall…I’m just concerned if we make the right decision.
Stay calm and trust in McClay. But yes, there appears to be a number of viable options....but that's the curse/positive of us making FA moves.
.....I suppose in a 'normal' Cowboys offseason, it would be boring WR or CB. I appreciate you put weight on poss value, but this way we could get a real decent prospect at 26.

Now if they could be as consistently good in the 2nd round. Maybe they just lock Jerry out of the draft room on Day 2.

It always is. We drafted Micah and there was outrage. Drafted Tyler and the same thing. Who will it be this year ?
Loved the Micah pick at the time, but did not expect what we actually ended up getting out of him

Hated the Tyler pick at the time, also did not expect what we actually ended up getting out of him

If things shake out like this ...........I'm probably taking Wright, Jones or Mayer but Zay Flowers would be temping

I really want a first-round DT because we've neglected the position so long, but I would have a hard time passing up Wright or Jones.

Would be great if we had any clue as to what the Dallas board really looks like for their top 20 guys. The consensus board is nice but I really don't believe any of those boards as being anything but 50-50.

I really could see Dallas trading down a couple of times in the first round. Once to say 29 or 30 and then out of the 1st if the price suits them. We could see a lot of action around QBs (maybe six but most likely 5) in the 1st and then OT guys and LB and CB. Some excellent players are going to fall into the 2nd and 3rd rounds and as we all know a few teams will draft guys that most boards had late 2nd or even 3rd round guys and do it in the first.

Anyway if Dallas does pick at #26, then would like to see guys like Johnson WR or Breese DT or Washington TE or Wright OT. Probably means I am totally wrong.
