Yeah, just watching the guy play football… I haven’t been impressed.

Very good physically, but for whatever reason, just not really a good football player.

I’d be more than shocked if they drafted him at 26. Dexter Lawrence, he is not.

I think some of our fans are just desperate for DT help and want a first round IDL. This just isn’t the draft to do it.

Benton in round two would be great though.

Yeah, Davis’ PFF grades are just about identical to Mazi’s. He was WAY over drafted by Philly.

If Davis hadn’t run such a fast 40 and hadn’t played for such a good defense, there’s no way Howie would have taken him. Excuse me…traded up for him. Lol. For a two down, low stamina, part-time player.

Philly fans now: “We don’t need Hargrave, we have Davis!” lol

Yeah Davis ain’t Hargrave for sure. We don’t necessarily need to take that run stopper in round 1, but we sure as hell can do better than waiting til round 5 and 6.

To get the most out of Davis, they probably needed to keep Hargrave and paired him with Davis and let Cox go.

Davis is actually a good comp IMO…

But neither are close to deserving of a 1st round pick.

I mentioned in another post that I've started to turn the corner with Mazi. I see the athleticism. Don't like the lack of production, even for a NT. He's a traits guy that I think could have a lot of upside. My gut thinks Pittsburgh is going to draft him.

Weren’t all these guys fringe top 10 picks? We’re picking 27th, I wouldn’t expect the same caliber of player.

That said, he actually stacks up well physically with these guys. The run defense grades especially are right there with them.

How many snaps did he play vs these other guys? Odd to leave that out for a NT. Was he consistently playing on all 3 downs?
