That seems a little rich for Osa......... I would love to keep him but $10-15M range. IF he is resigned, you can take DT off your board for our 1st round pick. No way Jerry's doing both.....especially with Mazi being a 1st rounder.

I like Osa but don't feel like he's the dominant force he's being sold as. Where was he when Micah was out? I get flashbacks to the 9ers game this year (who have a terrible line) and Purdy sitting in the pocket for half an hour. I feel like a lot of Osa's success comes from the attention Parsons draws and we could get similar production from a quality rookie or much cheaper signing (if there were any but the DT market is pretty dry hence the probable Osa overpay).

It sucks to lose quality home grown players but 20 per feels so steep for Osa.

I've said many times nfl thinks higher of osa than fans. Armstrong got 11 per year. Osa is easily a better player than him. And no I don't care about the difference in position. The point stands. Osa will be coveted by many teams that don't share the collective genius of cowboyszone

That's a fair point. You have to put the 20 per year in perspective of where the cap has gone too. Armstrong is a solid rotational player and Osa is a plus starter overall. Maybe 17 per year is a fairish number they end up on. I would be all over Osa at 11-15.

Anyone else think OSA the dude that gets paid and disappears?
Yeah I feel this.

Hes been decent to good. But I wouldn’t overpay and can likely get the same to similar production for cheaper.

Would much rather bring back Lewis and Golston

13 to 17 is about market value for Odighizuwa . Grover Stewart is getting 13, Zach Allen is getting 15 and Dremonte Jones is getting 17

Learn from your mistakes and sign Parsons sooner than later.

With Osa, I'd be willing to let him test the market.

if Osa wants to stay and will sign for a reasonable rate, absolutelly bring him back. Reasonable by NFL standards, not Stephen's ridiculous take on contracts.

Add new blood no matter what. Stop with everyone being content and comfortable.

‘Learn from your mistakes”….this is Jerry we walking about here….he isn’t capable of doing that.

Osa is the type of player you have to be prepared to move on from in today's NFL. He's not special. He's not even very good. It'd be another Terence Steele type signing.

I'm good on Osa. This was the first season of his career where he actually showed up past week 12. It just so happens to be a contract year too.

Who replaces him with equal or better production?

I like Osa quite a bit another solid McClay pick but I’m floored by that price tag . Where did Mosher come up with that figure 20 m per ?
