In the 8-12 games he'll actually suit up and play, he's a really good player. He can cover really well both the slot and on the outside, and he's willing to be physical in the running game. The problem is he has a history of always being injured/hurt and missing games. Whoever signs Springs will have to accept the fact that he will certainly miss games due to injury.

Hate to see Springs getting cut, would hate it more for him to play for the Cowboys, but it's almost like a forgone conclusion. If Jerry Jones is smart he gets him onboard ASAP.

When healthy he's one of the best in the league. There aren't too many corners in the NFL that are comfortable in coverage and are still able to bring the wood in the run game.

The one concern with him is health unfortunately. It almost seemed like he missed more games than he's played over the past two years and he's had a rep for getting injured even before signing his free agent deal with Washington.
