Is Mosley insinuating that Jerry would do the Rams a solid and trade them our 4th pick to them for the betterment of the NFL in LA? That's treading into some very murky water if he was to do that.

The Rams. I don't think they want to make their season debut with Case Keenum at the helm. If Wentz goes to Browns and they like Goff(California connection),they need to get ahead of San Fran to get him. They own 2 second round picks (#43,#45). Don't know what it looks like on the trade calculator, but I'm asking for both(plus#15 of course). And we can always remind them Jerry was the one that got things moving on this relocation thing if necessary. 4 picks in the top 45. That's how you build a championship team that can sustain itself.

At that point when the Rams pick......that's far too down the line for the Cowboys to be trading down to. Their are about 8 impact guys who can come in and make a difference now. Potential franchise guys. You are trading out of that to go to the 2nd tier prospects.

That's the issue. This is a odd draft, lots of good talent at a couple positions but no stand out super stars
That said if you trade down and still get the player you wanted the price you get is not as important since you still hot who you wanted

I agree. But who's that player? I'm not extremely excited about anyone outside of that top 8. Now if you trade down and Ezekiel Elliot is there then we're talking.

You never know who may fall. I like Elliott but don't think they take a RB in first rnd. I'm betting they go Bosa or Wentz, depending on which is there

I don't see any of those guys falling to the pick that the Rams have though. Its someone that falls every year though. I think it might be Buckner to be honest.

If you are going back to #12 or further you better got more than a second in order to do so.

A second, fourth and second next year maybe.

The rule of thumb is you don't trade down more than the number of players that you have graded about equally.

Trading down just to do it to acquire picks is how you make serious mistakes because you then will run the risk of drafting quantity over quality.

Sherman Williams, Shane Hannah, Kavika Pittman and Clay Shiver say hello.

Derrick Brooks and Tony Brackens say goodbye

Trading back probably won't happen. Really the only players a team would trade up for would be a player we would probably take.
