Exactly the point of the PJG.....if there were a point.
Not old enough to get the free bowl of soup at the Golden Corral. They keep on moving out the age on that one. I'm always a year away!
Work is out of control right now (sales tax required for all states, my head software architect quit hiring two more, massive technical project underway), just bought a house that I'm trying to get to where I want it. Interior repainted, exterior power washed and deck cleaned up and re-stained, lightning struct two weeks after I moved in and destroyed about six electrical items (PCs, switches, garage door opener), the movers smashed my 55" TV.
Needless to say, I'm ready for life to slow down for a bit. Hopefully around Christmas things will calm down a bit.
How about you ABQ? I haven't seen Jr around in a while. Maybe he is just staying out of OTZ?
Point taken....wait. If there was a point to take?
Sounds like a lot going on with you and a little tough luck. Good news for you is that Costco now has 84" 4Ks.
I've been good. Jr. has his hands full right now. He sneaks in every once in a while and posts here and there but between work, school and a Little One who just started walking, he's pretty busy these days.
Heck, I remember when he was still a kid and just started posting on this board about Football. That was a lot of years ago. Look who's reminiscing now right?
Are you sure you aren't just forgetting your age?
Anything is possible RWB. I'm not kidding right now.
Not feeling this one.
Senile old man!
I can tell who watches commercials around 10-6 on the weekdays and who watches primetime and who watches just games.
If you find the point, we have to excommunicate you for we live for pointlessness. One of us actually made a point, I believe it was November of 2017, and we had to call in the deprogrammers, Moe, Larry and Curly, and have a PJG intervention.
Seriously, we are not unless one of us is in pain. It is our first rule. They have ****ed up the world and it is up to us to not take it seriously. We cannot fix it, only comment on it.
LOL..... Happy Friday Sam!
1-877 Cars for Kids" Shoot me now.
That commercial aired during the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special on CBS and got the RiffTrax treatment when they made fun of that Star Wars abomination:
Emotional pressure in commercial form has been unleashed. Jewelry commercials that make everyone feel bad. Why don't people come caroling at my door? Who buys top of the line vehicles, scratch that, TWO top of the line vehicles at Christmas? If Santa has a fleet of Mercedes, why didn't I get better gifts? All these happy, smiling families greeting and hugging each other. Who are they and what have they done with my family? Everything is over the top and designed to make us feel inferior. We are taken hostage by these flashy excuses for emotion if we don't stay vigilant against their persuasive attacks.
Personal injury lawyer commercials I do not like...
Are those people really that happy about getting into Chevy's?
That Verizon guy is as irritating as that traitor that went to Sprint.
However, the Coca Cola polar bears make me smile every time.
I love Jim Adler "The Texas Hammer" commercials. Granted, I just make fun of them but...
Geico commercial where gramp’s nose does a solo while taking a nap
Local furniture store ads. With their doorbuster deals around the holiday season were they dress up in costumes depending on if it's Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
