16, 17 and 26. Stats can always be deceiving. Romo is accused of being a stat padder for similar performances and Rodgers is no different. I couldn't care less if he put up 500 yards if the team scores 17 points or less, which he did in 2 of those games. Rodgers is not infallible and whatever historical significance you claim he has against the Cowboys is nonsense since 3 of the 4 games are 4 seasons ago. You were provided with historical facts by @percyhoward and your reply was "well not against this defense". You're not going to change your thought process so its irrelevant what anyone says to you anyways.

My thought process is that the Cowboys defense has to get better or the team will not get past elite QB's like Rodgers in the playoffs. The stat Percy posted means little because the Cowboys couldn't stop the Packers from driving from their own 33 to the Cowboys 28 in 2 1/2 minutes with the game on the line. The Cowboys had every incentive to make a stop and get the ball back but they couldn't do it.

The Seahawks brought in (I think) Babinaux to raise the 12th man flag for that game because he's the one who tackled Romo when he bobbled the hold in the wildcard game. So it was extra sweet for Romo to shut up that twelfth man.

Man, a lot of good ones.

1) Seattle - Their record at home for the last few years is ridiculous. How many games had they lost at home over the last 2 years? 1? Not only that, we were actually the more physical team out there. It was awesome to watch.

2) Green Bay - Yeah, people can argue "what ifs" about this game all you want, but Rodgers was on fire that 2nd half. When he's on, you can't stop him, you can only contain him, no one knows what'd have happened if we scored there. I was just incredibly impressed we went into Lambeau, in a playoff game in January, and by all accounts, outplayed one of the best teams in the league. A few miscues like the Bailey miss, and the Murray fumble, and we take that game. regardless of the Dez catch.

3) Eagles redemption - Don't need to explain this one.

4) Commanders redemption - Sit or start the starters? We decided to let them play, and it was just a complete/epic beatdown. That was fun to watch.

5) Sweeping the Giants - Don't need an explanation here either

6) Saints - Rob Ryan who? Not only scoring all over their defense, but holding Brees in complete check while we scored at will.

7) Indy - This game was over by halftime and was Hitchens coming out party. Indy and the NFL's golden boy, who's taken the Manning's place as the media's darling, just got absolutely crushed this game. It was a lot of fun seeing us put a smackdown on one of the "better" teams in the league. They stood absolutely no chance and couldn't stop us any point in the game.

8) Detroit revenge - This was a game that I thought was horribly officiated, after Megatron's first game, it felt good watching us do a much better job on him and Stafford choke the game away in epic fashion. Also, Lawrence's coming out party on that final drive was fun. Just hold on to the damn ball next time, Demarcus!

I'm sure that 0-4 you brought up didn't include facing the Cowboys defense.
Rodgers has been in this situation (less than 5:00 left, down by 3) five times, and the Packers lost all five games. The average NFL rank in defensive passer rating of the five teams he faced was 16th.

2008 Falcons 18th (L)
2009 Bucs 21st (L)
2010 Falcons 14th (L)
2012 Colts 22nd (L)
2014 Seahawks 6th (L)

Dallas ranked 13th in defensive passer rating last year.

2014 Seahawks 6th (L)

Dallas ranked 13th in defensive passer rating last year.

So because Rodgers has been in that situation with less than 5:00 down by 3 five times and lost all five that means it would have been an automatic he would have lost for a 6th time? The Cowboys have never won a playoff game in Green Bay in their entire history and that losing streak continues. Despite the defensive passer ratings you listed none of those teams ranked lower in pass defense than the Cowboys did in 2014 and none of them recorded fewer sacks than the Cowboys did in 2014. The Cowboys defense was being chewed up by Rodgers in the 2nd half and with the game on the line with 4:06 left they allowed Rodgers and the Packers to move from their own 33 to the Cowboys 28 in only 2 1/2 minutes and all the Packers were trying to do was run out the clock.

The Packers moved the ball with such ease Rodgers was able to start taking a knee with a 1:43 left. Even with the Cowboys holding a 7 point lead right before the half their defense allowed Rodgers to move the Packers from their own 40 to the Cowboys 22 in only 29 seconds to close the gap to 4 points. If anyone thinks Rodgers couldn't have moved the ball into at least FG range in the final 5 minutes to tie the game had the Cowboys had the lead at that point is kidding themselves. There's a lot of pressure just trying to maintain the football to protect a lead and the Packers had no problems doing that in the final 4 minutes. It's become too easy to shoot down these passer rating stats you put so much stock in.

I was at the second Giant game last year with my wife's family who are all Giant fans.

You could feel all the Giant fans in the crowd scared to death when Romo had the ball on the last drive- they KNEW that he wasn't going to be stopped.

It made it all better since there were like 5 people who kept saying he was going to choke only to have him calmly march us down the field-man it was awesome.

It means that if Dez's catch had stood, there's no reason to assume the Packers come back and win that game.

There's every reason to assume the Packers come back and win as easily as they moved the ball in the final 4 minutes that put them in FG range. Like I said all they were trying to do was eat up the clock and the Cowboys couldn't stop him. The Packers could have gone on to score a TD if they needed it reaching the Cowboys 28 with 1:43 left.

The Cowboys lost the Packers game due to 2 bad plays calls, poor tackling which allowed Green Bay receivers to make sizable gains after the catch and the Cowboys inability to apply pressure to an injured Aaron Rodgers. With 40 seconds remaining before the half on a 3rd and one from the Packers 27 instead of allowing Murray to pick up the first down Romo took it to the endzone for an incompletion. This forced the Cowboys into a FG attempt and a penalty was called moving the Cowboys back 5 yards which caused the attempt to be blocked. The entire sequence before the half switched the momentum. The Packers proceeded to move the ball from their own 40 to the Cowboys 22 in 26 seconds where they ended the half with a FG.

That was at least a 6 point swing in the final 29 seconds of the half. The play to Dez with just under 5 minutes to play was another bad play call. Instead of looking to pick up a first down on a 4th and 2 with a high percentage throw to Witten or Beasley the Cowboys decided to go to the endzone from 32 yards out hoping Dez could win a jump ball battle and make an acrobatic catch. Had the Cowboys chose a high percentage play and picked up the first down they could have run the clock down and scored a TD leaving Green Bay in a desperate situation with little time left.

That was great, I thought the Cowboys had little chance and thankfully they proved me wrong and I said the Cowboys are for real this season. = Seattle game for me.

yep! They turned a corner. Beat the champs on their home field where they rarely lose.

Many still had doubts about the Cowboys heading into Seattle despite their 4-1 start. What made the Seattle win so gratifying was the way the Cowboys won. It wasn't like Seattle had a bad day and the Cowboys win was a fluke. The Cowboys spotted Seattle 10 points and no one beats the Seahawks at home with their Legion of Doom defense when you spot them a 2 score lead but the Cowboys did it. The game started off looking like it might be a repeat of the last time the Cowboys faced the Seahawks in Seattle but they proved they were a much different team in 2014 than they were then. It took a lot of mental toughness to overcome the start the Cowboys had in that game and it set the tone for the rest of the season.

Really good question! It's really hard to pick one. I'd have to say the 2nd game vs the Eagles for me. I honestly thought we didn't have a chance. All the eagles fans were talking so much crap. Dallas made them look weak that game.
