The moves have been nuts. The Cowboys haven't really done much but I'm still having a blast.

I'm wondering what spurred all this on. Is this a delayed reaction to the rookie salary cap, where it's not easier to just keep cycling through draft picks since you don't have crazy amounts of cash involved that traps you?

Did a bunch of big names just all happen to hit the market at the same time?

What are your theories?

And he's apparently losing his mind. I could see the silver lining for the Eagles in the McCoy deal. But this Foles-Bradford swap is hilariously bad for them.

I think it's ******* awesome.

Bradford and #10 pick for Foles and the 20th is hilariously bad? Looks like a pretty good deal considering the end game.

What I want to know is if JJ and Stephen are trying their best to get their piece of the pie from Chip?!?! I mean... we could give them Randle and a 4th for Graham and a 2nd.

As any FFL player knows, when you see blood, you rush to take advantage as fast as you can while they believe they are geniuses and everyone else is dumb.

I think teams do not like the talent avaliable in the mid rounds of this draft so they are using those mid round picks on proven players.

That's not the trade man. I dont know who is spreading that rumor around.

Also, I agree. It's a bad trade.

Here's the important language from the article:

In addition to Foles, the Rams will also get Philadelphia's fourth-round pick in 2015 and second-round pick in 2016. The Eagles will get St. Louis' fifth-round pick in 2015 in addition to Bradford.

The Eagles can also pick up a conditional pick in 2016 based on how many snaps Bradford takes. If Bradford plays less than 50 percent the Eagles will get a 4th-round pick, if he does not play at all it becomes a 3rd-rounder. If Bradford plays more than 50 percent of snaps the Eagles will not receive any additional compensation.

Well, I think Bradford is a better QB than Foles when healthy, so there's that... I don't think Bradford is staying in Philly though.

Bradford is better, but they aren't keeping him, plus they gave up their 2nd round pick next year.

They are about to sell the farm + Bradford for the #2 spot. They'll be missing draft picks for 3 years.

Not to mention, they are taking a HUGE gamble on their current offensive weapons.

Some huge trades today, certainly adds some more spice to the off season, just wish the NFL could figure out how to make it easier to make more trades..

But we were originally simply talking about this particular trade, in a vacuum. None of the rest of that matters. In the case of just this trade, I can see some not agreeing, but it's hardly laughable.
