Most game winning drives since the start of last season

Yeah, I get that he's delivered some tight game victories but anyone with eyes can tell you that he's not exactly a premium QB.

Winning is all that matters, but quite frankly I think this is more a testament to team building over anything.
It is a testament to a great Defense with a good run game only needs a bus driver who does not make mistakes.

That is what I am saying...

So what exactly was your tie comment about then?

No one was talking about GB towing the game.
Probably got mixed up in my comment to LouB about Dak getting no credit for that tie game, because his drive put us up 40-37, but they came back to tie the game.

Amazing what actually drafting a bluechip QB can do instead of shopping off the clearance rack.
I don't know if I'd consider Nix a blue-chip QB (maybe you just mean a first-rounder). He's a QB in a great defensive situation. Denver scored 14 points in regulation last night against Seattle. Nix and the Broncos offense did nothing after halftime. In overtime, the defense got the ball for the offense near midfield with an interception. There are a lot of NFL quarterbacks who could win with those parameters.

Funny because Nix is being roasted for his play.

I wonder how many game winning drives Dak would have if the defense didnt then collapse in the closing minutes of games.
More importantly, a good D doesn't have to force a QB to have to run these last-minute drives. Denver is lucky they have one, but they are missing the QB part, lol. NFL football I guess; it's not easy to have both sides of the ball successful, and well, that is where coaching comes into play.....if ya know, ya know

Bo Nix sucks. His game winning drive last night didn't even require a first down lol.

"Game-winning drives" is a stat for dummies.

Dak threw a TD pass to take the lead against GB with less than 40 seconds last year and doesn't get credit for it, but Bo Nix gets credit for that? Stupid.
Yeah I wonder if there is a stat for "games when the QB led what should have been a game winning drive but the defense bent over and gave it back." Money says Dak would lead the league in that statistic ny a wide margin.

you just described Romo, but he did it more frequently

Well, there is no stat for game tying drive that I am aware of, lol
The play being referred to was against Green Bay last year. Dak's TD to Pickens put Dallas up 37-34 with about 40 seconds to play.

The defense couldn't hold the lead with less than a minute to play. So Dak's efforts in that game go unrecognized.

I’ve said it a thousand times….outside of maybe kickers these clutch/game winning drive type stats are all overrated and somewhat meaningless at the individual level.

These really are more a reflection of the team as a whole.

The irony to all this is that in 2026, Bo Nix might be the worst QB in the NFL. He barely passee for 100 yards last night, and will get crediit for the game winning drive.....
Sam Darnold has a SB ring…
