I mean Dak knew the drill when he decided to stay, you looked right at the devil and decided the money was better than winning.....heres your prize...youll be Jerry's heat shield and never win anything...bad decision...

Taking the current pulse of football fans across the league, where is Patrick Mahomes?

Great player, yes. But his constant whining and the fact he literally flopped trying to buy a penalty against the Texans has a lot of non-Chiefs fans tired of his act.

That's quite a list. I'm not surprised Dak's name is on there. His name would have been on there no matter a new contract or not.

Because it's such a high profile position and high profile team, I'll be surprised if he doesn't win.
I mean Watson is going to win. This was a player who is hated so universally that his own fans cheered his injury. It turns out 26 counts of sexual assault was the probably breaking point.

Dak Prescott wasn't winning anything away from the Cowboys either. The man is a loser.

What I always found interesting is the NFL polled their players about 10-15 years ago and asked them, "Who is the NICEST player in the league" and evidently the winner in a landslide was Michael Vick. I really didn't expect that one.
Had to be B.S., to try to salvage his career and make money for the NFL.

Which is why the absolutist take is a silly one. It is very rare for the absolutist take on anything to be right because you are not going to run into a real situation where "everything is bad" or "everything is good". Case in point teams win games and teams lose games. No one player is going to be able to fix the result on their own as it takes a team. The rational take is to look at each piece and see what worked and what didn't. When you fall back on absolutist takes you end throwing out the good with the bad and vice versa.

Its not because of high profile and so on.

Its just because people hate bad people. And Prescott is just that: a bad human being.

A team is only as good as it's weakest link and Dak Prescott has proven to be the weakest link on the Dallas Cowboys for the last 6 years and no real end in sight.
