I was just a mere young lad at the time, but the catch still haunts me to this day. Watching Montana march the Niner's down the field with relative ease and then what looked like a sure sack of Montana turning into "The Catch"

:(
It was a sequence of miracles.

1) Montana somehow doesn't get sacked.

2) The ball became intangible and phased through Too Tall's arms.

3) Dwight Clark defied the laws of physics to catch it.

In true Cowboys fashion they still had a shot, and teased like they were going to pull it off only to have the fingernail tackle and the fumble on the verge of FG territory.

@ the 2000 Ravens. 27-0

Not the most heartbreaking, but was easily the game that sticks out in my mind as the most lopsided.

We didn’t belong on the field with them and that historic defense.

We were meat for the grinder
1972 NFC Championship game.
Look up the stats...then - watch the film.

The most helpless I've ever felt as a Cowboys fan was not a moment but a time period: The Dave Campo years. We had bad players, bad coaching, no quarterback, horrible drafts, and no hope for the future. Bill Parcells was a godsend for this franchise and Jerry Jones.

The Catch by Dez.
Last year, when Pollard got injured the Cowboys were helpless...it was kinda embarrassing.

Philly running up the score when Buddy Ryan was coach. I was going apes***. Not sure I've ever been that mad about a football game ever.

Felt helpless watching Emmitt get tripped up on the record run. He keeps up and that's a record breaking td run. Ultimate way to do it.

Romo muff on GW FG in playoffs @ Seattle.

I mean there is nowhere to run from the outrageousness of meme's to be generated, and the glee of haters in that moment.

At least the Dez catch/no catch, we had an out (most agree we were robbed).

I seriously felt like Carrie @ the prom that night. Sickening to even reflect on it.
