dont tell me it's important to get off to a quick two score lead or to make tackles before their wr's can get yac.

I think it's important they take deep sideline shots with dez. It's riskier than they've played all year but I think it's important to open things up and let zeke have more room.

I'll take a 60 yard interception If I have to.

Consistent success on 1st down. Yes we need to take shots deep but our offense has been most effective when putting on long, methodical drives. And that starts with regularly gaining 4-6 yards on 1st down.
When they've been slowed down I think it was Bc ou first down calls were predictable and teams run blitzed. They may need to tinker with the formula a bit to avoid this. Quicker stuff to witten and Beasley as an extension of the run game

Consistency in down and distance. Third and short, good...third and long, not so good.

Yep...11 drives where the offense only holds the ball for roughly 2.5 minutes per drive (like New York) will surely put the defense on the rivet.

1. Keep the penalties in check. I'd like to see the Cowboys have less than 50 yards in penalties. Fewer is obviously better.

2. No turnovers.

Beyond that, just do what we've done all season. Pound the ball with Zeke. Pay attention to the battle of field position. Keep the score manageable and within reach for Dak.

If we do those things, the Cowboys collect a nice playoff win at home and advance.

We need more play action on first down, & early in the game. Go deep, very deep. It will put them on their heels, & put us up quick if those strikes result in touchdowns. At the least, it will back their safeties up, so that our running game is even more productive. Gotta give Free help on those deep balls, though. If he knows he has help, whether just a TE chip, or run Zeke's fake to the wide right side, so he's there to help in pass pro, Free won't be so prone to false start. Rolling Dak out to his left more in P/A will also be a nice change up. On defense, the linebackers/safeties must put immediate pressure on Rodgers when he rolls to their side.

Attack deep middle and more specifically deep right, where GB has had particular trouble with it's pass defense this season.

You will see a different playbook this weekend. We will risk more with deeper throws. Bet we see Dez playing some slot. I think linehan has held back waiting for the playoffs to unleash more plays.
I think you're right. I think they want the ball in his hands early and often to keep him engaged and hopefully he can break the game open. These are two evenly matched teams and Dallas has a habit of not allowing big plays. I think we'll see a really well played crisp game with little mistakes. So a dez highlight could totally flip the script

Overall, Dallas is ranked 4th against deep passes. Green Bay 23rd.

Just because Tony opened up the deep ball doesn't necessarily mean THIS team can. They should stick to the plan: run Zeke to open up the pass.

Either way I can't wait to see how the Cowboys approach the game!

I think that Dak himself will carry the ball more this game. He has too take off with it a few times.

It's almost unfair that he has wheels and really doesn't even have to slide. I like your idea and would hope he has 5-7 carries/scrambles
Just make sure that he doesn't get his bell rung by accident...or you just might see Romo if Prescott ends up in concussion protocol.
