I want to see us do what we've done all season.

If at some point we start to look shaky, and we're down by 2+ TDs, I'm not opposed to seeing some trickery to get us back up. Flea flicker, Dez passing, fake punt, RB jump pass at the LOS, etc.

Conversely, if we're up 2+ TDs, shove that dagger in their heart with a trick play and a quick score. Demoralize the hell out of them.

Other than obvious run the ball plan, I'll get more specfic. Clever use of designed Dak runs. GB struggled with this.

Yes, if I remember correctly, Dallas rolled him out alot in the first game with green Bay. Roll outs and if the pass isn't there, Dak needs to get out of the pocket and run. That's usually an easy 12 yard gain for Dak. Take it.

Agreed. Those designed sweeps to the left or right, with two pulling lineman has been magic for us all season.

Obviously you have to use them strategically, but we need to get a little creative.

Dak having a good feel for his hot routes will be very important. GB knows they don't have the secondary to allow Dak 5-10 seconds in the pocket, so they'll probably pull from the Giants gameplan and blitz frequently.

But if Dak knows where to go with the ball in those situations, we can absolutely torch them for it. Or screens to Zeke there could be deadly.

Hopefully the 3-2 dime package causes problems to Rodgers...the key is if Irving can be relentless and the other lineman keep rotating and keep Rdogers moving backwards.

And also no running off the field last second or jumping offsides....Rodgers takes advantage of that every time, usually with long bombs

Totally agree. I think it will cause problems. But remember, since that game, Mayowa has become a force as well and we get McClain back who has been a real problem for defenses all year.

Those 3 guys, I think, are going to give Rodgers fits because that leaves 8 guys covering 4-5 receivers. Bottom line.. if Irving, Mayowa, and McClain all have great games, we win!

Dak, Dez, Beasley, Witten, Elliott, and that Oline will get their scores against a bad GB defense.

Irving, Mayowa, and McClain are the keys to victory. They can't come in and lay a stinker or we will lose.

The most important keys are the defense must limit explosive plays, and the OL must control the line of scrimmage, especially in the Free/Peppers matchup.

dont tell me it's important to get off to a quick two score lead or to make tackles before their wr's can get yac.

I think it's important they take deep sideline shots with dez. It's riskier than they've played all year but I think it's important to open things up and let zeke have more room.

I'll take a 60 yard interception If I have to.
Maintain your rush assignment is the most important factor in this game

Attack deep middle and more specifically deep right, where GB has had particular trouble with it's pass defense this season.
Yea, I wanna see Dez running more deep slants than he has so far this year. Other than that, I wanna see more screens to Zeke.

I really don't understand this clamoring for a "quick strike throw the ball deep" game plan?!?! What we do really works and works well. Quick strikes means the defense is on the field sooner and longer as the game wears on and the other team get more drives. That's not what got us to 13-3 and the No.1 seed

It's simple, you want to stretch the defense to the breaking point...leaving it off balance and without a clear sense of how to defend what is being thrown at it. Not attacking deep allows the defense to slowly strangle an offense as it creeps forward. Example? See the second game versus the Giants.

I think it's Garrett not mucking up the game management. If we get a 3rd and 1 at the 35 just before half again JUST RUN THE BALL! That incompletion led to a missed FG which led to the packers turning the entire game around. This after we hadn't had a run of less than three yards all day.

totally agree. my biggest fear is the offensive game plan after the long lay off.

I think garrett has gotten very good at game management this year. They always seem to have timeouts when they need them and junk

Teams generally fail to execute when they deviate too much from the style of play that got them to the playoffs in the first place. A little variation to keep the opposition guessing is good, but this is a team built to win by dominating time of possession and grinding the opposition into a fine paste. There is no good reason for them to do anything else.

1. Keep the penalties in check. I'd like to see the Cowboys have less than 50 yards in penalties. Fewer is obviously better.

2. No turnovers.

Beyond that, just do what we've done all season. Pound the ball with Zeke. Pay attention to the battle of field position. Keep the score manageable and within reach for Dak.

If we do those things, the Cowboys collect a nice playoff win at home and advance.

I agree 100%. It really is that simple. If Dallas doesn't beat Dallas, Green Bay won't beat Dallas.
