Of course, you knew this was coming but do not expect Special Teams because the Cowboys' isn't.

This is a little trickier than the D and maybe a few more candidates and other than Martin, who's as good as they come, and Big Smitty who's on the south side of his career, who isn't a candidate including Williams?

I am gonna go with Michael Gallup here because I expect him to be the beneficiary of Cooper's first full year. I think Cooper will be good but about like last year. And Prescott and Gallup were really connecting as the season went on, I think there's something there.

Yosemite really isn't a fair pick but he's the leading candidate in the NFL comeback player of the year and has got to be the emotional favorite. The improvement that he will bring will be to the overall OL. He was missed far more than any of us believed.

OK, who's your guy and please, let's not turn this into another Dakster v Dakater thread.

Assuming we don't acquire a free agent starter at TE, I'll go with Blake Jarwin. When the team started targeting him the latter part of the season he played very well. The Cowboys should be targeting him from the start this year.

If I am the FO then I am talking to Swaim also. Get another year from him and allow Jarwin and Schultz to come along. Then we won’t really need to draft or get a FA.

Who will be the most improved during the 2019 season? Sure it's easy to pick a WR, RB, TE or QB because of the obvious measurables. Not so easy with an O-lineman who have a huge impact on those WR, RB,TE and QB measurables. I'm going with Connor Williams. A year of experience and some time in the weight room and a workout regimen will help him and he not only improves noticeably in game 1 but continues that improvement over 16 games.

Then again it could be Rico ;)

Tough call. Very tough call. I'm going against the grain here, but here's my list, in order:

1. Schultz. This kid can play. Complete TE. Just watch.
2. Gallup. Close, very close call. Love this guy.
3. Connor Williams. If he can stay healthy. He's actually a beast, though I know he didn't play like it.
4. Cedrick Wilson. I almost put him higher, but I'm not sure how many chances he'll get. Here's another kid who can flat out play. Look out.
5. Dak. I think under a new OC and QB coach, he'll be much better.

I think this is a bit limited becase I think Silo coming in help improved the line. I dont know if Looney got better or improved as a player, but Silo coming in helped the line but a lot of other factors were involved. I think Looney played well, but i dont know if he improved. Gallup improved, but that was expected of a rookie. I think Jarwin improved, but what am ii really comparig it to.

Connor Williams.

Shultz and Jarwin will step up this year.

If Gallup gets better then look out with Coop on the other side. A real WR corps.

Williams should be heavier and stronger if he trains in the offseason.

Cedric Wilson is my dark horse. Was having what some say was a better TC than Gallup before injury. Expecting good things but not to much considering it will be his first real season.

Dak should improve as long as he works on his game and the fact that this year hopefully we have a healthy full O-Line. If our O-Line was healthy this year he would have been a lot better.

I have a feeling we're going to see a much improved Dak next season. He makes plays with his legs and through the air given the time with some decent route runners. I really don't mind so much that he holds on to the ball, better that then throw up ducks like many QBs do. We rarely see Dak throw stupid interceptions.

The part of his game he needs to improve is simple and should be easy for him. After the first few reads and he had the open lanes he has to take it. Not calling his own number (which he is good at that) but taking the lanes between the hash marks and scrambling up the middle. Not scrambling around the outside. He is holding the ball and taking sacks he shouldn’t because he isn’t taking the lanes you could drive a truck through. Waiting till the pocket breaks down. Once he starts doing that then defenses will be freaking out.

again, this lands on KM to put Dak in positions of strength. i agree Dak can worry some defenses, but if its the same ol, same ol its not going to matter. I hope KM re does the offense and make it simple but effective and keeps plays that work.
