Most Overated Player in the NFL

Interesting list so far. Talk about the eye of the beholder---Rivers and Ridgers overrated? Guess we all have our opinions...so fair enough.
I said Rogers because he hasn't won a playoff game yet. If Romo had to win one to be considered elite, Rogers should too.

I think Favre is overly-covered in the media because of his dramatics but I don't think he's overrated.

I agree with that.

I think the McNabb suggestion is pretty good.

Bob Sanders belongs at the top of any overrated list.
He certainly was for a while. I think most people now agree that he was never that good, though.

That's what I was thinking also.

Carson Palmer.

I'll agree with you on that one. It's like he got put in Peyton and Brady category that one good season the Bengals has, and the media and whoever else can't find it in their hearts to drop him back a few pegs.

He hasn't been nearly as successful as Romo, but gets zero heat.

Adrian Peterson is a beast, you can't be serious.

He fumbles and will lose multiple games for you.

Yeah he dazzles here and there but I wouldn't want him. He'll be done in 2 years.

The fact that he fumbles doesn't mean he's not a good player, you can't overate a player because they MIGHT be done in a couple of years.

I just chewed out a friend the other day cause he said Miles Austin compares to Javon Walker, and could easily get injured and bust the rest of his career. What kind of logic is that?
